We had a 6 person mobilehome for 4 of us. It was plenty of space, but I can see how for 6 it could be a bit of a squeeze.
The rooms were all v clean, however upon leaving you have to scrub the place spotless so I'd advise you try and keep it clean because it's a nightmare when you are trying to get away on the last morning! You have to give a credit/debit card on arrival so that they can charge you if needs be, but they don't take any money, and we paid for breakages in cash anyway so it seemed a pointless exercise!!
Also you're given a list that you have to tick everything off of to ensure they know what you've broken, its all very clinical but I suppose its to ensure the place runs smoothly.
The staff were very helpful although apart from the receptionists, English speakers were few and far between.
Also, we had an issue with our gas boiler, as the container it was held within showed the naked flame, and was locked in a cupboard. This would have been ok, had the case around the flame not been scorched and kept blowing out, but we were assured all was safe, and I guess our survival proves this!
There is a bus stop two mintues walk away from the campsite, just follow the road and you cant miss it, however the beach is slightly harder and further away, around 20-25mins, but it's worth it because it's beautiful!
Lastly, the pool area was great and the slides were basic but good fun! The area itself was clean and well patrolled with lifeguards!
Overall, we would all stay here again, but having seen the small pitches, wouldn't camp, so would have a mobile home again!

Room Tip: Mobile homes for 6 could be quite cramped, and beware, you don't get a huge amount of room per p...

Mer et Soleil was our first taster of camping on a French holiday park and we were mightily impressed.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly - especially the entertainment staff whose energy was boundless.

We stayed we our 2 year old in a 6 person 'cottage' for 12 nights and the size of which was adequate but we would definitely not have wanted anything smaller. The caravan was well equipped though, it could have done with an oven and a kettle but the hob served us fine.

The swimming area was really nice and the evening entertainment was pretty good too and the mini disco kept the little one entertained most nights.

The shop left a bit to be desired but a trip to the Hyper-U soon sorted us out.

We did not have a car so getting there was quite a chore but the buses were cheap and reliable and it was easy to get around once we were there. There was also plenty to do in Agde / Cap d'Agde.

All in all had a great time and we're are already considering which Yelloh campsite to go to next!

We stayed here for 2 weeks in Sept 2012. A nice site with each pitch surrounded by high hedges or trees, but without our motor mover we would have really struggled to get the caravan on the pitch. The trees blocked our satelite signal too so the telly was rubbish! The roads inside the site are very narrow and difficult to negotiate with modern English vans, even impossible in some places and we only have a single axle 4 berth!. With the awning up there was no room for our car on the pitch, and finding somewhere to park it was problematic because of the narrow roads. The on-site bakery is excellent, and as we went in September the pool area wasn't too crowded, but in high season I would imagine it would be a nightmare. The nighttime entertainment sounded good but as it moved inside the bar during our second week, it was impossible to see it because the bar is far too small and we couldn't get in! The path to the beach is much more than 1km, but would probably be ok with bikes. We took the car, which took just 6 mins with free parking very close the the beach. We were on a buy 1 week get 1 week free deal, so it was good value for money, but I definately wouldn't pay full price, and I would avoid the place like the plague in high season.

We only stayed here for one night but what we saw/experienced was of a good standard. The mobile home we stayed in was sufficient for us. It was very small, but there was only 2 of us so we had just about enough space, Had there been 4 people it would have been way to cramped. The lounge/kitchen area is very small, but the kitchen is very well equipped. The balcony area is very big so I guess as long as the weather is good this is an extension of the living space. It was all very clean. The park itself is quite big. There is a large swimming pool, a supermarket, bakery (very good bread for breakfast in the morning!), bar and takeaway. Staying one night we did not experience the entertainment but the programme looked good with kids clubs and evening entertainment. The staff were extremely helpful we arrived late at night and one of the security guards showed us to our mobile home, and despite the language barrier managed to advise us of somewhere we could go and get some dinner. Security appeared good with security guards on duty all the time and a barrier with keypad entry to get in & out of the park. All in all a pleasant experience for the first night of our holiday.

The camp site is not very suitable for families as I found most of the guests around us were older teenagers / early twenties there on their own who were loud and in considerate to other guests.

Our pitch couldn't have been any closer to the 'entertainment' area as such we had music and noise from the other guests until 2-3 am and I had to speak to at least two groups in the early hours to ask them to be quiet as it was impossible to sleep. We then had the trucks making deliveries as early as 7.30 again due to the location of out pitch the trucks were impossibly close.

The pitches themselves were so cramped and gave little / no space between them, we gave the dimensions of our tent at the time of booking and was bearly able to move around the pitch once our tent was up, and this as I found out was one of the larger pitches.

The pool itself and pool area was far to small considering the amount of guests that were there, small children were constantly in danger from the older kids who were often somersaulting into the pool, the final straw was when the pool attendant was informed of faeces in the main pool and all that happened was it was 'fished' out, without any evacuation of the pool and further cleaning, ph testing etc.

This site was our third site during our holiday and our second yelloh village site. I can honestly say compared to the other sites this was far less enjoyable and that is being generous. We stayed here for the simple reason our children were being dropped off at the end of our holiday to go on a pgl holiday with school and this site was conveniently situated. As soon as the boys were dropped off we packed up and left, earlier than planned!

The sanitary facilities were clean but if you are an English guest then dont expect simple comforts like toilet seats, I found two only, all the other camp sites had these as standard, I don't believe this is a massive cultural ask!

I have travelled all over France and this is one place I would not go back to. We paid extra for the better accom, had two bright lights all night front and rear so accom was always lit up even with curtains closed, hob no cooker but they did supply a micro bbq (best way to describe it), fridge was warm inside, reported this twice, told I had too much food in it the first time! and to high a setting the second time and anyway fridges are meant to be warm!! WHAT!! I lost over 200euros in food over my stay. As for the bed's, yes I know that beds in caravans are not all that but these were the worst ever, a hard floor would be better. Dog poo all over the site, noise all night as the position of my 'better' accom was on the main through fare, lorries at all hours as the site is badly designed with the shops and the pool well into the site so lorries had to pass through to drop things off. The pool was much to small for size of site and the lifeguards only interested in tanning, chatting up the boys/girls and posing ... they ignored problems at pool i.e. bombing when pool so full people could not move etc. etc. The problems with this site just go on ... IT WAS RUBBISH and not woth half the money I paid .. AVOID 1/10

Just got back from a short break here. We stayed in a 'safari' chalet and were very happy with both the site and the accomodation. We got an very good price for the stay 49€ per night which included the car and bracelets for the pool. The site was well organised and perfect for our young daughter, the staff were helpful and very nice. Even though it's the start of the season, the facilities were open, and the lids clubs had lots of activities on offer. The only thing we found a problem was that the reception closed at 7pm and after that there wasn't anyone on hand in case of problems. We have spoken about returning again as there is so much in the area to visit.
