“chilled place for a fun week”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2013

Natureva Spa is a well equipped and comfortable apartment complex with its own pool, sauna and steam room. It is close to all the night life of Cap D'Agde and to the beaches. Cap D'Agde may not be the ideal place to dip your tow into naturism, as it is pretty full-on, but you can't beat it for a fun filled and sensual week as full of erotica opportunity as you want to engage in. However, returning to Natureva Spa - this is a nice quiet retreat to recharge batteries before the next day or night out.

Enjoyed a week in Peps apartment, room 217, (booked through AGN) which appears to be the largest apartment in the hotel, with two balconies and plenty of living space. Being located at the edge of the naturist resort made for a very quite location but lost out on the view - nice view of the car park, but plenty of coming and going to people watch. Spa supermarket in Port Amborne has everything one could need for a self-catering stay. The resort itself has changed somewhat since we stayed in the 80's with an increase in the 'swinger scene', which can be ignored or laughed at if you are not in to that and does not spoil the wonderful beach.

Room Tip: Peps (room 217) booked through AGN is unique in having a double balcony and appears to be the larges...

It is rather apartment than hotel. I you are looking or a accomodation in the naturist part o le Cap de Agde this can be the Place. Easy to book, relatively big and spacious room you can easily book by internet and it is possible to book single days. Most o the places in the naturist village want you to book at least a week. At Natureva you have got nice staff, good location and as a whole good value for Money even if many Reviews would called it overpriced.

Vastly overpriced for a “self serve” hotel, located by the entrance gate so not much to be gained by staying here at double the price of hotels in town.

I most definatly wouldnt stay here again just drive and park inside or get a taxi.

What really irritated me was having to make sure the room was cleaned afterwards, fair enough not to trash the place but with an 11am strict checkout we didn’t want to be running around emptying bins and washing dishes, for the money charged employ an extra maid to do the job oh they did it was the receptionist!!

If you are looking for a place in the nudist colony then may be it is a good compromise.
otherwise overpriced and lacks facilities.
Difficult to check in out of hour after paying like a 5 star.
The staff are not very helpful.
But if the idea is to stay nude all day it is a good option

"Don't bother" and "supplement natureva" sum it up nowadays. Natureva is way overpriced. It is ridiculous to pay hundreds of euros for the privilege of a hammam and sauna that are actually closed for 17 hours a day for "technical" reasons, and that are open for only 3 hours between 9-4:30. The rim of the footbath at the entrance to the pool was green with some scummy algae. Extra towels are charged for. A few years ago, there were better, more polite, staff, and the hammam and sauna were on almost 12 hours a day. Now everything is worse. If natureva were not one of only two hotels in the village, people would have stopped going. It would be struggling to survive on its poor service and facilities. However, its unique position in the village means it will still draw customers.

Book earlier at other bonafide hotels and you will do much better. Services are almost nonexistent here unless you pay extra.

Have room made up daily - Supplement
Have room cleaned (as required) at end of stay - Supplement
Towels for the beach - Supplement
Use of Aqua Gym - Supplement
Late Checkout - Supplement
Continental Breakfast - Supplement
Of course all spa services are extra.

Oh, you have to throw out your own garbage, too.

Pool, steam and sauna closed from 12-4:30 everyday.
Reception desk open from 9-12 & 3-6:30; after that you are on your own.
WIFI is only available in the small lobby (which does not have AC).

All this for $180.00 a night.

Studio rooms were almost ship-like bunk beds. They were quiet.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that does not face the parking lot.
