Adequate room for tourists if you do not plan to spend much time at the hotel itself. The room was clean, full bathroom, mattress could be more comfortable but was not terrible.

We arrived one day early for a barge trip much to our dismay and due to lack of communications. We stayed at this hotel and it was a basic, clean place. It idid have a flat screen TV and the bath was just fine. The room had a small shuttered porch but just big enough for one chair. Nothing exciting. However, we did eat at a great restaurant recommended by the hotel. The Octopus had and excellant chef. Have the hotel make resevations. Also we tried to get into the La Table Bretonne for breakfast but it was swamped. The food looked incredible.Have the hotel make reservations and you will be sure to get in.

We had three nights here in a front, first floor room. Staff were very friendly on arrival and throughout our stay. The entrance hall and bar are rather dark and dingy as was the room, which was a bit of a disappointment. It was big enough, with a separate bathroom and shower. You had the feeling, though, that everything has been done on the cheap and the standard of cleaning was not good (eg dust in the corners; very stained and threadbare carpet). There were cracked tiles and loose plasterwork.

We didn't have breakfast here, preferring to eat out and thats where the hotel was good. Right next to bars and restaurants and within 5 minutes walk of loads more.

They have their own garage which is a big advantage (9 euros a day) because having a car is important to explore Langudoc Rousillon and Provence whaich are both absolutely lovely parts of France with great countryside, history and people.
