“Poor”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2013

Wrong room, no apologies.
New room: bed unmade, towels on the floor.
No apologies.
Final room: all very tired and really below Novotel standards
Reception: no basic manners, more interested in personal conversation on cell than dealing with time pressed customer.
First time ever Novotel staff have been well below normal standards.

Thank you for taking the time to comment on the Novotel Suresnes.

I understand your disappointment I convey my sincere apologies. I sincerely regret the negative impression that you left your stay and wish to assure you of the importance we attach to welcome that is one of our hotels' strong points. I will recall to his housekeeping staff, reception and restaurant staff the necessary checks to put in place to ensure this kind of situation you encountered does not recur.

Your recent experience was certainly not a true reflection the high standards for which our hotels are known.

Best regards

The staff was very friendly and kind...they were always willing to help us out in English.Extremely patient with kids.highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfy budget options in Paris.Infact we left behind some stuff in the room and they had it all countered to Geneva. That shows their honesty...very impressive

We stayed for the Easter holidays at this Novotel nearby Paris. The location is not difficult to find by car, if you're or have a reasonable navigator. A few parking spots may be available in front of the hotel, where you don't need to pay during Sundays, public holidays, and at night. The hotel also offers a parking garage, but this is quite expensive. We stayed with our family (2 parents, 2 small children) in one room, which should be possible in a Novotel room, but our room was very small, so that you could hardly move around with the sofa bed opened up and a baby cot installed. This baby bed was reserved by phone in advance, but not present on arrival; solved the day after.
Breakfast was good, a busy place, but everything fresh!
Public transport, like the metro, could not be found on walking distance. We went by car to Porte Dauphine and took the metro from there.
All together, not a bad place to stay, but don't expect spacy rooms, it's Paris, not the campagne..

This hotel is good for business trip but for family trip it is horrible! I have been staying in this hotel in the past for business trips, that is OK because expectations are limited to suitability for work... but this time I really came to know how useless it is for family stay!
- People are walking in to room without even knocking the door!
- Room cleaners are pushing you to go out of room to clean your room!
- Service is very poor! Staff is not attentive at all, you have to beg them if you need something :)
- Some staff at reception are helpful and look educated.
- No service at bar! and on top of that if you request something to drink.. you will have very rude reply! there is a lady stewardess who doesn't even know how to talk to guests! very very rude (as if she is paying for your drink :)). I am seeing same stewards for last three years.. they need to be either put on some training or change them time to time...
- This hotel is purely doing business due to location which is very suitable for business stays and there is no other equivalent hotel available in that area..

Room Tip: Nothing to sing about it, if going for business, take any room.. if going for pleasure/holiday.. do...

I dont know why i stayed in one of their hotels again. Probably because of convenience of location. As per usual, I did not sleep. Big hard pillows that cause neck pain, sandpaper bed sheets, artificial duvet so you either are too hot or too cold and paperthin walls so, yes, I did hear the drilling at 6am! I ordered room service and eventually got my soup, after lots of sighs from the lady... You may say, yes, but the price is ok... Well, I stayed at the Mariott last time: same price, much better!
Keep making the same mistakes when I go to France. Now i found a way to remember: No for Novotel...

I stayed at the Novotel earlier this week in Suresnes. The hotel was a typical business hotel. The room was fine, plenty of space for a single traveller, and internet connectivity was good. Breakfast was good each day. However, the attentiveness in the lobby bar left something to be desired. We would often wait 20-30 minutes to get someone's attention to serve our group. It seemed the bar staff was working elsewhere, and did not check back on the patrons often enough. Additionally, there was an issue with one of the elevators and it was often out. That was an inconvenience.
