Description: Since 1928, the Cazaudehore family has passed on from father to son the secret of turning a simple “refreshments bar” into an eminent address in the west of Paris. Our Executive Chef Grégory Balland is devoting his full attention to a creative and light cuisine, but never forget the region from which the family is from: the south west of France. All this has made the reputation of this long-time favourite household. The restaurant offers a cosy and friendly atmosphere, where even in winter the surrounding nature can express its presence. In summer days, the restaurant opens onto a terrace surrounded by the forest, its smells, noises and mysteries.

“A luxury country inn in the vicinity of Paris”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2012

Luxuriate in the garden on a summer day, and you will feel far, far from any major city. While there is nothing retro about Cazaudehore, it is an experience that definitely brings about memories of times past; when one had time to eat in leasurely fashion, to scent, to taste, to turn off one's phone, whiche hadn't been invented yet anyway, when luxury meant something....
Food is very ambitous, and of high quality. Whether the chef succeeds every time with his sophisticated creations is a mater of individual taste.
Prices are high, as is appropriate for a luxury venue. Service is excellent, providing you don't expect to get an overly quick meal.
Overall, a very welcome break from the bustle of city life, or a romantic retreat, or a trip to the country and the past, whatever tickles your imagination and palate...

“Mixed bag”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2008

Stayed at the hotel for one night only and on business The staff were really friendly and fortunately completely bi-lingual. They even tolerated my poor French!

The rooms were typically French in design but I was a little disappointed to find that most of the power sockets did not work and I could not gain access to the hotels internet service.

The food was first class although service in the restaurant was rather slow with even my French colleagues saying that 3 hours for dinner was excessive.

There was no bar at the hotel which was a little surprising.

The location is somewhat surprising being next door to an Army barracks although this had absolutely no effect on my stay.
