We stayed at this hotel for the nights before & after the international football (soccer) game between France & England.
Prior to going I had heard not great news regarding the vicinity of the Stade De France, generally the St Denis suberb of Paris. How wrong people could be. The regeneration of the area was amazing. The stadium has been there 10 years now, so the environs were buildings of that age of less. Smart offices, some bars, a smattering of restaurants. The railway station, specially built for the stadium was 5 well lit minutes walk away, along a tree lined avenue. The very frequent trains into Paris (only 2 stops to Gare du Nord, 3 to Notre Dame) only took 5 to 10 minutes. If you are driving the Peripherique (Paris inner ring road) is about 100m from the hotel, but you can't really hear it. Parking was $12 per night, in a secure underground car park. The car park didn't seem too big, so book it with the hotel in advance. The lifts can even be accessed from the car park.
The hotel is smart, modern looking. The reception has free internet, a bar (ideal for pre & post match drinks), and a small eating area. We had breakfast in the bar next door - far more Parisienne!
The rooms were modern, but not overly so. My girlfriend has more olde worlde taste in hotel decor, but even she found this accepatable. All spotlessly clean as well, particularly the bathroom & toilet (both seperate from each other).
Beds were comfortable. Not too hard, not too soft.
There is plenty of storage space for those who unpack, and there is a good safe.
The rooms are generally very large. The ones facing the stadium have the best views. If you like stadiums.
For the sports fans, the reception to the turnstiles is about 50m! Ideal for the away end. This save the hour or so of queuing to get away by train or car. For those not at the game, the nearby train to Paris is ideal, and of course about the safest place in France on match days with the vast number of security personel.
The staff were very friendly (amazing for Paris!!), and appreciated my efforts at speaking French, although their English was perfect.
I'd recommend this hotel definitely for sports trips, but it is also very convenient by train to get into Paris city centre, and considerably cheaper than similar size / similar facility hotels nearer the city centre.
