“Very Pleasant Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

My husband and I have just returned from a one night stay at this hotel while going to see Lady Gaga at the Stade de France and found it to be a very friendly hotel and excellent value for money.
The area is undergoing some building work - but you cannot blame the hotel for this. It's probably not one of the nicest areas of Paris - but it's where the Stade de France is so you could complain about that with any hotel in the area.
Check in was quick and all the staff were very pleasant. We had a quick meal in the restaurant before leaving for the concert - no complaints about the fod or drink.
The room was big and spotlessly clean - the bed was enormous and the bedding of very good quality. Breakfast was excellent with a large selection of hot and cold food.
It was about a 15 minute walk to the concert - and we felt perfectly safe walking around. You could get the metro but we felt that it would be absolutely packed - especially getting back to the hotel.
All in all I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to anyone needing to stay in the area.

We stayed for one night on Sunday, to attend the Coldplay concert at the stadium nearby. This hotel looked to be about the best within walking distance of the stadium, but Saint Denis is certainly not an area that I would stay in unless there was a particular reason.
There is extensive traffic and road works going on in the area at present, and it took us over half an hour to find the hotel with all the diversions. Aim for the building with the huge SEIMENS sign on the top. The area is grubby, unattractive, and a network of busy roads. On a positive note, the hotel has an underground car park.
Check in was a chore - and for no particular reason ! The staff were friendly, but didnt seem to know what they were doing. There wasnt a queue when we arrived at reception, but there certainly was by the time we managed to get our room keys.
The hotel is newly built, so the rooms are modern and quite spacious. I am always worried when hotels require you to insert your key in order to get the lift to work. It either says something about the area or the clients ! The room mini bars are empty, so you have to buy anything you want from the 'shop' beside reception. However, you have to fill out a form for anything you wish to purchase to be added to your room bill. Its not very clear what youre suppose to do, and of course the staff are all taken up with the very slow check in process....
I bought white wine from the bar, as I didnt fancy what was in the 'shop', but this was dire. Later in the evening I had a glass of red wine from the bar, but had difficulty drinking that as well. Very disappointing.
If you are attending a function at the Stade de France, this hotel is one metro stop away. We chose to walk to the stadium, as we thought the metro would be manic after the concert finished, if its anything like Wembley.
Its about a 25 minute walk from the hotel to the stadium. I would suggest, if you intend to walk back, make sure you walk there, or you'll never find the way. The route is over a pedestrian bridge, poorly lit, and along a busy road. Okay when theres lots of people around, but not somewhere to be alone at night.
Our friends took the metro from the hotel direct to the Champs Elysees, and they said it took about 25 minutes. So you can get into central Paris quite quickly if you wish.
There was a good choice at breakfast the next morning, and although busy, there was plenty of food. Traffic was heavy, but it was straightforward to get back onto the motorway and out of the city.
There are so many fantastic places to stay in Paris and in France. Unless you have a particular reason to be in Saint Denis, I would personnally look elsewhere.

We stayed here to be close to CDG airport and Gare Du Nord Station as everyone in our party were traveling to different places. It was 15 minutes to Gare du Nord when catching most of the red traffic lights and about the same amount of time to CDG. The staff was great and make sure we had everything we needed. There were also an U.S outlet in each room so a converter wasn't needed. Parking costs, but it was worth it as it was a garage safely locked underground with a room key necessary for access. The elevator went directly into the garage so very convenient! Would definitely stay there again!

I stayed here for 3 nights and overall hotel is in good condition.
Breakfast is nice and elaborate.
Rooms are reasonable size and location even tho a bit far from city but close to Metro.

Warning: The hotel doesnt have their own housekeeping staff so i had a very bad experience. The house keeping told she has got tired so will not clean my room!! and when i told the front office the staff told they told they cant do anything about it as its not their own staff!! SHOCKING!

Room Tip: Ask for a room where house keeping will come and clean it!

If you work near here, probably nicest business hotel. Not deluxe but it does what it is supposed to. Very clean and very nice staff a plus. The gym has decent kit and is worth using. Breakfast was a good buffet. Wifi is free.
