“Great hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2013

Stayed here for 4 nights and everything was great.

Rooms nice, good size and very clean

Slight aircraft noise but no issue.

Had room service twice and food was good. Expensive to eat and drink but so is the rest of Paris

Shuttle bus was very handy for getting to the airport

Best bit was pool, spa and sauna so we could chill after a days sightseeing.

All in all a great hotel

Stayed here for 4 nights in Oct 2013 and have no complaints at all. Rooms are fine and clean. The spa is lovely after a day out sightseeing to just chill by pool or have a steam or sauna.

Had room service twice and food was good.

Expensive for food and drink but then again so is the rest of Paris !

Shuttle bus was good and reliable.

A little bit of aircraft noise but wasn't a problem

So as I say no probs and would have no hesitation using this hotel again

First, let me assure all readers that we did not experience some of the concerns expressed by other reviewers. The shuttle to and from the airport does stop at other hotels and it does get held up by other travellers so the 20 minute turnaround may become 30 minutes (as it was for us). However, it is easily accessed at T2 - it's just above the TGV station. From the station, go up a couple of escalators, you will find Pauls (the pastry shop) - you are on level 4. On the right you will see the elevator to take you to L5, get out, cross the road, look at the big board with all the hotels listed, note the colour of your bus and wait patiently. The right colour banded bus (I think it was gold banded below the windows) with all the hotels written on the front of the bus (below the driver's window) will eventually arrive. It is free. After a few stops (and passing the other Novotel next to the terminal) it will loop backwards and stop at the Novotel Convention & Wellness at Roissy.
Despite what other reviewers may have said, the staff at reception are lovely. If you have already paid in advance remember that you still have to pay the room tax before you depart so perhaps pay it when you check in.
We liked our room. The bed was comfortable. It was a king. We did not hear aircraft noise. We asked the counter staff about walking to the village and they obliged with a big map. The village is lovely even if you just go for a walk through the beautiful park and stop at the bistro and have a drink on the pavement or go to the supermarket and buy some chocolate. The locals actually make eye contact and smile. Drinks at the hotel bar were the same price and quality as at the bistro in Roissy. My dinner at the hotel restaurant was really good and I chose this over staying in the village. The TV only had one English channel - BBC. Breakfast was a little crowded. There is a little confusion about the glasses and bowls - neatly hidden under the various counters of food. There was agood range of food. My favourite was the fresh fruit bread rolls.
At 8.30 am we did not have to wait long for the return bus to the airport and it made up for the long wait the day before.

This Novotel is not what you may expect from other locations around the world. It is good quality budget accommodation I am guessing targeted largely at the crowds visiting trade show at the nearby Parc des Exhibitions, surrounding light industrial areas and the minor flood of overseas flight crews that swarm through the lobby.

Beds are comfortable and rooms spacious but minimalist. There is a good quality gym and pool. The restaurant should be booked in advance as it seems always to be overwhelmed with demand on my three visit.

Be aware that this hotel is located quite close to Charles de Gaul Airport so if you are troubled by the noise of arriving and departing aircraft at 4am in the morning then this probably isn't the hotel for you as I haven't required an alarm wake up call on any night I have stayed.

Not quite up to the standard I'm used to with Novotel. The staff were a little stroppy on check in, the rooms not as comfortably appointed as other Novotels, and a little noisy, but it is close to the airport and good for your first night after a long flight. The breakfasts are of course, delicious with an excellent range of French and English/American style options. Parking is easily available on site for a fee.

I like staying at this hotel when I go to Paris. It's near the airport, there's a free shuttle bus that leaves every 20/30 min from Terminal 2 and Roissy Pole.
The staff is friendly and helpful, breakfast is varied, rooms are large and comfortable.
The fitness center is great.
It's worth visiting Roissy village, just behind the hotel. You can stroll around the park, buy groceries and eat at cozy restaurants.
It's far from Paris downtown, but you can either get the train at CDG or a much cheaper and local alternative, which is the bus that stops just in front of the hotel and leaves you at a Paris metro station.
I do recommend this hotel.
