This hotel reminded me a run-down casino hotel. Based on the furnishings, it is obvious that this was once a very nice hotel but time (and neglect) has taken its toll on this hotel. Everything from a window that didn't close properly to cracked/chipped bathroom tiles to stained carpets screamed second-rate hotel and an extensive renovation is needed before this hotel can be considered a true four-star hotel. However, the hotel's staff (once they finally acknowledged your presence) were actually very helpful and accommodating. I arrived shortly after lunch and while they were not able to offer me a room, they stored my bags and offered some suggestions for eating establishments & walking areas in the local area (I did not want to go into Paris). After returning about an hour and fifteen minutes later, a room was available and the young gentleman (who spoke perfect English) quickly checked me in and inquired if I needed anything else (i.e. wake-up call, etc.). The free Wi-Fi, bottled water, coffee service, and airport shuttle was appreciated.
Overall, it's an okay choice if you just need a place to stay for a night, especially if you're catching a connecting flight the next day. Plus, I thought the hotel was a good value (i.e. you pay for what you get).
