“Excellent place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 weeks ago

L'amdier is an excellent hotel to stay in Paris. It is located in the modern La Defense, very close to the Nanterre Prefecture station on Metro A line. Staff is very helpful and make you feel welcome throughout. Merriam helped us a lot with selecting how to go around in Paris. She even drove with me to show me a gas station. Excellent and 10/10/

This was a new years trip for my family of four and it was great. The location is not far from the metro at all. The day staff was so friendly and helpful, the evening front desk was very rude. The rooms were clean and look exactly how you see them on their site. I would recommend this place to a friend and I will stay there again great price.

This hotel is placed at 13 minutes walk from the RER station, through a beautiful green park with a lake. The rooms are small, but are completely renewed and clean. The bathroom is confortable with a nice and large shower cabin. Internet access is free and granted by the password given at the reception. Heathers work very well and temperature can be adjusted separately in the room and the bathroom. The cost is very interesting, considering other equivalent alternatives in the area.

Great place, affordable and clean. Exactly what we wanted in our stay. Triple room useful, even though third bed was kind of camp bed, so room bit crowded,it was as comfy as other beds. 15 min walk from station. Staff nice. Room cleaned every day, and shower gel/coffee etc provided free. Wifi in rooms bad, as didn't always work, but worked in the lobby. Would recommend, but probably no to lone female travellers, as getting there in the evening is quite a mission - 15 mins walk to RER train station (Nanterre Prefecture), or 30 mins to metro, and area very quiet (which is great, but not if travelling alone)

Great value for money, I would definitely recommend anyone to stay at this place. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they speak English which made things easier for me. Rooms were clean and recently renewed, with tea/coffee facilities, TV and Wi-Fi. Breakfast was really good (not included but totally worth paying for it). Quite close to the Metro, so it’s pretty easy to access Paris. I would stay here again if I go back to Paris!

We were not told that renovations were being done, so the dust and lack of amenities (like no restaurant or bar) we had to go miles to find somewhere to eat. Luckily the hotel next door provided some use as we ate there & drank there but it was a hassle with our hotel shutting and locking the gates so you had to use your phone to ring them to open the gates.
My asthma became really bad because of all the dust in the rooms, hallways and lift. Although it looked clean, it wasnt, they changed the beds everyday and gave you fresh towels but they didnt clean the floors or furniture.
I took a picture of mould spots on the pillow case and the dust on the chair in the room. Other guest also moaned about it to me.
They had no wifi the entire time we were there and a little angry we were not told this prior to booking, same as the renovations. When we said all this the manager seemed a little off and moody that we had dared to bring this up.
The staff are friendly and speak English.

Room Tip: Make sure you get a room in the back, view is not up to much, but much quieter.

Very basic old hotel. Room was clean and the bed was good. Old fashioned bathroom with a lot of mould in the shower. Breakfast was simple but acceptable. Checking out took extremely long. Would only choose to stay here again if price was less than half of today.
