“Convenient location and good value for money.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Excellent for the traveller on a budget. This place is in the heart of la Defense, a few minutes walk to trains, supermarket, quatre temps mall and CNIT. The room was clean, but could definitely use a facelift. Same goes for the bathroom which was tiny. It was convenient to have a coin operated laundry. The small kitchenette in the room had a fridge, microwave, stove top, and came with basic cookware, crockery and cutlery. We did not use the pool or the dining area downstairs. The staff was helpful and provided us the use of their luggage holding room for a few hours without a charge. All in all, not the best place to stay in Paris, but convenient and cheap if you are not looking for luxury.

Anticipating poor performance after contacting Accor Customer Care via telephone, I was pleasantly surprised. It is a budget hotel so no luxuries should be expected but as for the purpose of inexpensive stay at a quality hotel in central Paris, the accommodation is perfect. It provides cooking facilities, which saved us extra money and we could enjoy family dinner in the privacy of own room in different country. However, some nice restaurants are available in the area. The 4 Temps shopping centre is 10 minute walk same as the Metro station just next to it. The staff is courteous and speak fluent English.
As for the bad stuff… We have stayed at this hotel for four nights during Easter Holiday. We booked 3 rooms. Although the price was almost the same, they differed in size. Furthermore, crockery and silverware is incomplete. The room was not cleaned during entire stay. The prices differ depending on length of stay. However, generally can be recommended.

The hotel in itself is okay, even though it could use to be cleaner and better maintained - and given a much needed facelift.

The problem really is the staff. Rude and incompetent doesn't even begin to cover it. For example, the girl at reception looked down her nose at me every time I had a question, as if I were a terrible inconvenience to her - and her clipped irritated replies only came after she was done chatting with her coworkers.

When I asked to speak to management with a question (not a complaint), the guy who obviously *pretended* to be the director was not only very, very unhelpful, he also relished being unpleasant. "We're not in the business of being nice" - clearly!!

I know French customer service is not stellar (I can say this because I am French!), but this place will go down in history as one of my worst experiences. I would not stay there again for the life of me, or recommend it to my family or friends - so definitely not to you either.

There are lots of other similar "hotel-apartment" places in the neighborhood, so I highly recommend you pick another one. You will be better treated - and chances are the amenities will be nicer, cleaner, better maintained and equipped.

Good luck!

Very convenient for la Defense, the staff are very nice, breakfast is ok but ... they should use a brush and some paint and replace the bathroom fittings and room carpet. A bit of a disappointment. The kitchen is pokey and not too well equipped (no cups)

The apartment was clean and well maintained. The staff at front desk was polite and helpful. The place is walking distance form the La Defense station and has a nice super store close by. However for a family of 4, you may want to consider the facilities in Kitchenette. The requirement for 4 is much more than 1 or 2.

I stayed in this hotel for five days with me, my husband and our 2 year old child in one apartment and my parents and my sister in another apartment. The hotel is located about 10 minutes walk from La Defence station and shopping centre. There are elevators and escalators everywhere in La Defence so moving around with baby pram was unusually easy compared to other locations in Paris. The closest supermarket was in the next block so buying food was easy. The apartment had a livingroom with small dining table, a rather tiny bedroom, a small kitchen and separate bathroom and toilet. Kitchen had all modern appliances and all necessary cooking items. The shower was ok, with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The bedroom was small, especially when we had to fit a baby travel bed into it, but we managed well enough. Overall, I was very pleased with this hotel. It was well worth of the money and inexpensive compared to hotels situated closer to Paris center. For the people travelling with small children to Paris, I definately recommend to have a very light and easy pram and/or other means to carry the child. In many attractions there are no baby changing possibilities, but on the positive side some places (like Louvre and Versailles) may allow families with small children to skip the queue.
