This is the worst experience I had. Hotel appearance is just bad. Room’s carpet is all dirty and also all carpet in the hall ways is. In all floors. Most of electrical outlets are broken or have a burnt stain in the wall. Some spots on the wall are also dirty. The whole mood of the hotel is sadness and depressiveness. The bathroom is old and my washbasin was unsticking from the wall; shower was also old and very used, and in the ceiling the paint was all falling down because of humidity (not just in the bathroom, but also in the room). Rooms in front sides of the building are very hot in the summer, during the day and during the night. The bed had very clean white linen but the blanket was old and looked like full of bacteria, lol; I tried not to touch it very often. It can happen that you say hello to some cleaning lady and she doesn’t reply. It’s common in Paris people being rude, but in your working place, it’s being unprofessional. Internet connection is a joke. It works with passcodes you have to ask in reception and are valid for 15 days and 2 Gb. It is often down, and when it’s working, it’s very slow. I couldn’t do phone call using skype. Once they had some problem with the internet connection and I notified the reception girl, well the problem persisted until next day, and the next, and the next… Only 7 or 8 days later they resolved the problem. They didn’t care, you could feel it. I speak French so it’s not a matter of not be very communicative because you can’t find the right words in English; it’s just they don’t care. The worst was the attitude of one reception boy, how is not receptionist but stays there during the night (and can’t do nothing about reservation or other thing you need during the night, but they state that the reception is available 24/7, lol), he doesn’t care about your problem and don’t do nothing about it. He only says “I don’t know, come tomorrow to talk to some receptionist.” I also had a huge problem with invoicing, because they changed their software and couldn’t give me an invoice with the amount I had payed. Really. It took me 3 weeks to achieve it. I stayed in a lot of crazy places. I can remember a few. But none beats this glorious holder of the prize of the worst hotel I’ve ever been. Thank you for reading.
