“Facilities are sufficient but crew isn't friendly at all”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2012

The hotel reception is hided, taxi drivers needed to run around 2 or 3 times before they could figure out where it was located. We arrived in 3 around 22.30, with a reservation and took around 15/20 minutes per person to check in, we got access to the room around 23.20. It's not an hotel, are mini apartment, clean, with also a kitchenette, fridge but no minibar, only soap, toilette papper and showergel is provided, as other things for the kitchenet. Breakfast has little variety but is good, good coffee or cappuccino, youghurt, snacks, not international breakfast, forget bacon, scrambled eggs and sausages, served between 7-10. Close to the turistic area (9 km) or few minutes with the M1 line, it's reccomended for location, price and general facilities. Personel in the reception, looks stressed and unfriendly, may be all the Parisien are, I felt uncorfotable just asking to book a cab. Rooms are for couples only, I can't see them indicated for families, there's no common areas where children can really play.

A group of us stayed at this hotel on our first visit to Paris from US! We stayed 3 nights from April 8-13. We stayed in a 1 bedroom apr that slept 4 comfortably. The location is in the business district in Paris but easily assessible to the subway. We purchased the 3 day subway pass. The hotel is very clean and the staff was very nice and accommodating. They also spoke English which was a huge plus. They helped us with directions and answered our questions during our entire stay. We couldn't figure out how to switch the tv to English except for one channel and it comes and goes. We will stay here again when we visit again this summer.

I stayed here on business and will never ever do it again. There are many better options in the area. I specifically requested a room on the upper floors, and was dumped on a disgustingly smelling first floor. When I requested a change, I was met with much complaining from the reception. It took about 45 minutes and never resolved. To sum up: unfriendly service, small rooms and stench from other rooms. Totally overpriced for what you get. For the price of their rather pathetic breakfast, you can get a hotel of double the quality.

Room Tip: Do not, I repeat, do not stay on the first floor.

Citadines is an apart hotel, so you can manage your food and your drinks better. The entrance is at 50 metres from "esplanade de la Defense", a metro stop on the M1, the biggest Paris metro line. The receptionists are very kind and friendly. The only bad thing is the clean service: one per week, and they forgot to clean our room, so we had to remembered them with the result of a late of one day on the cleaning.

Perfect Hotel if you plan to stay for a couple of days in Paris and Enjoy the city. Its a bit far away from both the Bus Station and International airport and you may end up couging about 80 to 100 Euros if you take a taxi. However if you really want to enjoy the city take a differnt transport like i did to reach the hotel. it is very close to the metro station.

All the major tourist attraction are close and accessible by metro. The rooms are very small though for the rates they demand appro 130Euro a days, however they look cosy. The receptionist speaks a decent english and the staff is really helpful. there is a small departmental store in the Complex where you can get you daily needs.

The most beautiful thing about the hotel is that Eiffel tower is clearly visible from the Balcony and u feel memerised with the scenic beauty that you see during the venings.

Its a decent option, however if you plan early you might get a better option for the money you shell out.

Other than not providing toothbrush as part of toiletries, this apart hotel is worth to stay if your working in La Defense area.

Nothing in this hotel said to me take it was a place I'd want to come back too. Dingy halls, old carpet, not the cleanest even by French standards. It is an apartment-hotel so no daily service. If you want new towels, take your old ones down to the lobby and exchange them. Didn't have a car, so can't comment on parking. There is no restaurant in the hotel but there are plenty within a 10 minute walk
On the positve side, good location if you have business at La Defense, front desk staff are fluent in English, close to the M and a good view down the Avenue de la grande armee.
