I spent 2 nights in this 3* hotel, in room 407 (back side) which was small but clean, good for a quiet sleep and a good shower...
Of course you can hear the elevator (not a disturbing sound) and of course you hear the floor squeeking a little, but that is normal for a small hotel of this age, it didn't really bother me. The frequency of the foreign sounds is very low.

The breakfast was OK, the variety of the food was limited and the bread not so fresh, but the croissants were OK and so was the thee/coffee. You are staying at a 3* hotel, remember !?
The breakfast room is charming, but soon overcrowded, when all guests come down for breakfast at the same time...

The personnel is quite friendly and they do their best, nothing to complaint for !
The access to Paris from here is a positive thing: either by train or by car to the nearest metro station ( La Défense ), with lots of paying parking facilities.
Visiting the La Défense area is a thrill !! Few people know about this "State of the Art" part of Paris, with an impressive Esplanade !

For me, this hotel constitutes a good alternative for spending a weekend in Paris, at a reasonable cost , in a fairly quiet atmosphere.

We did not deliberately book this hotel but instead thought we were booking the more central hotel in Paris of the same name. A good lesson learnt about booking hotels in a hurry!!

We chose to stay here anyway, and it was ok, definitely could have been worse. It's 2 mins walk from a train station that is only 12 minutes to Gare D'Est so it was more convenient than we anticipated. You can also catch the metro to and from La Defense.

The room was tired, clean but the fridge had a horrific smell. Bathroom was small but not abnormally so for Europe and was a very awkward layout. The entire decor was a bit much, very dark, lots of stripes, floral and fabric on the wall...

Breakfast was ok with the usual continental fare. Wifi was good and the service from the staff was generally good and answered any questions we had.

We wouldn't stay here again due to the location but generally it was ok.

Hotel manager very helpful and welcoming , 3 stars no way

Entered room turned on light switch it did not work, door closed and then left groping around

finally found bathroom light and there was relief
mentioned to hotel staff but nothing happened during my one day sojourn

The expresso machine in the breakfast room was a nice plus

Good choice for a good price, though not in Paris Center. It's a 10 minute walk from metro/RER station La Defense. Nice and safe neighbourhood. The beds are very confortable and the bathroom has been renovated. Some bathrooms have a bath, others only have a shower. The room decor is a bit retro, but the room was very clean. The breakfast is expensive, so we decided to go to the bakery across the street. The hotel has free wifi, a flat TV and the staff is nice. There are many grocery stores and restaurants nearby. There is also a big shopping center at La Defense. I would go back for the price, but I would prefer a hotel in Paris if I can find one for the same price. The hotel was not noisy. There is a hotel with the same name in Paris 9e. This one is in Courbevoie.
