“Family friendly, well equipped apartment hotel. 10 minutes walk from train station”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2012

The only (small) drawback is the 10 minute walk from the La Defense metro / RER station. The walk is however not really challenging as there are ramps and well maintained side walks which are fine to walk even with luggage. The hotel otherwise is great value for money - for cleanlines, fresh design and colour scheme, comfortable rooms, bed and bathrooms, and quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. The kitchen is equipped enough to cook up a storm!

Stayed in a 1-bedroom apartment for a week. We were 2 of us in the apartment. Made the reservation through booking.com without any hassles.

The apartment building is located in charming Courbevoie with just a 10 minute walk to La Defense business area and La Defense Metro station. There is a beautiful park opposite to the apartment. Convenience stores, super market, restaurants (including a Subway and McDonalds) are all within 2-5 minute walking distance.

Apartment itself though not very new is very well maintained. It was quite spacious and all facilities provided. These include microwave, refrigerator, dish washer, kitchenware, bedding, linen etc. Bathroom and toilet are separate and in a good condition. Front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. Free Wi-fi worked very well most of the times.

Some minor inconveniences: Lack of shower curtain in the bathroom which led to water spilling onto the floor and a broken shower handle. Also, there were no non-French channels available on TV.

Overall, a value-for-money, hassle free property. Recommended for both short and long stays.

We stayed at this hotel for four nights this weekend and we leave with a very good impression. Both of the area La Defense and the Adagio hotel. The staff were serviceminded and very helpful of any questions we may had. The rooms were very good, you could stay in Paris for a long period of time in these rooms because they are equipped with a dishwasher, a fridge and a microwave. The room is also divided with one bedroom and a living room with separate toilet and shower. And it was clean in all rooms. We were a group of five persons, three in our room. It was no problem since the living room and bedroom are separated. All in all, a great hotel, especially for families or friends travelling togheter. The price is also very affordable. Even though the hotel is not in the centre of Paris, the metro is about 10 min. walk away, and the line 1 stops by the Arc de Triumphe, Champs Elysees and the Musee du Louvre to mention some. It takes about 10 min with the metro to Arc de Triumphe.. Would definitly recommend the metro opposed to a taxi as the traffic is crazy in Paris.. Enjoy!

People are very nice and available for any questions you may have. Facilities are tidy and enjoyable. Very quiet.
There's a small park for children with a merry-go-round right in front.
Three minor issues:
To use the parking, you have to ask for the remote at the reception and return it after using it.
The bedroom door handle was not properly fixed and the dish washing machine was not working.

We booked a 2 rooms apartment, on the 11th floor. The apartment was very clean and the view was great.

The problem was with the noisy neighbours. Also in the morning there was a workers team with some drill machine that troubled our sleep. I believe the receptionist could have annouced us that there were some noisy mornings.

This is a modern apartment hotel, located in the Courbevoie area and about 10 mins walk from the Metro/RER station at La Defense, from where it is a 15 min train ride to central Paris. Despite being not centrally located, the hotel is in an interesting area, next to a small park and an attractive French style 'High Street' with bakeries, restaurants and supermarkets etc ... and within easy walking distance of the high rise Defense business/shopping district (a bit like Canary Wharf in London). It makes for a pleasant place to stay, away from the hustle and bustle of central Paris.

We stayed in a 2 bed apartment on the 14th floor, with views of the Paris skyline (incl. the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Sacre Coeur etc ...) from the large balcony.

The apartment was well equipped with a good kitchen and a large dining table. You can pay extra to have breakfast in the hotel restaurant. but we chose to eat in the apartment.

The staff were all pleasant and helpful.

Found a good price at 600 euros for 3 nights.

Would definitely stay there again.

Recently stayed at Residhome for a business trip and was there 3 nights.

I was very disappointed by the size of the rooms, as the bed had to be folded into the wall to make any space. Also they seem to have saved money by not installing curtains that actually fit the windows. I had a window that was 2 metres wide, but curtains on either side that only extended about 0.5m each. With spot lights coming from apartments across the gardens, it was a very bright night in the room, and not easy to sleep properly.

The hotel claims to be 4 star but has no restaurant, or leisure facilities.

The breakfast in the morning costs EUR16 which is a rip off, and absolute chaos. They don't seem to have enough room for all the guests that stay. Also the food on offer is very limited and basic. The only hot food was a bowl labelled Scrambled eggs, but looked more like an alien from Star Trek.

The heating in my room wasn't working, and when I informed the staff on the desk they made a note of it in the log book, but it wasn't fixed for the whole of my stay. Very poor service.

To sum up, they claim that this is a mixture of an Apartment & Hotel, but really this is an excuse to offer you very little service, and with a list price of EUR170 night this is really not worth the stay. God knows how they got their 4 star rating.....
