“near the mall and metro station”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

we stayed at the 4th floor for 2 days, and it was nice but no free wifi, you need to pay for 2euro for 24h wifi.

its next to a mall (Bel-Est), walking distance to metro station, sourvenir & halal roasted chicken stall and its pretty cheap.

the bathroom is very small, i felt like i was inside the airplane though (but much bigger than a plane's toilet)

i couldn't find a tv remote inside the room but lucky i didn't spend much time inside the room.

It only has one socket inside the room so i need to share it with my friend ( 2 cameras, 2 cellphones and a laptop ) it takes time!

i love the croissants at this hotel ( free breakfast)

they provided 2 pcs at the lobby ( not sure if its free or not)

p.s : if you're expecting to see the Eiffel Tower from your room/hotel, this is not a hotel for you.

This hotel is situated on the periphery of Paris, it is cheap and very basic - which isn't necessarily a negative. It is easy to get into the centre of Paris from this hotel, there's a metro station and a bus station within short walking distance. The journey via Metro takes no longer than 20 minutes, and the transportation costs are really affordable.

The best thing about this hotel has to be their breakfasts, they have a good selection of food (I probably ate a lifetimes worth of croissants while I was there) and the ambience of the breakfast area is quite nice too.

Basic and cheap, but not bad overall.

I went to the Mister Bed City Hotel in Bagnolet with the sixth form for 2 nights. We got to the hotel on a Friday night after a full day travelling from Somerset to Paris, then walking around Paris so we were all very tired. The downstairs/breakfast area is very deceiving, as it is very lovely. The colours used and the big screen TV are very nice features, but the rest of the hotel has nothing to shout about.

The food was nothing spectacular, your usual french food such as croissants (no pain au chocolat by the looks of it) and a coffee/drinks machine (only apple and orange juice). The hotel is littered with vending machines where the drinks are available at a reasonable price.

The rooms are shockingly bad. Me and two other friends had a three man room which included a single bed, a bunkbed, a desk and a bathroom. The bathroom was made of plastic and was tiny. It was actually uncomfortable to move around there was so little space. The bunkbed which we had was drilled to the wall.... not safe if you ask me. The beds themselves were actually quite comfy but the pillows were sometimes as thin as paper, and you only got one. The TV we had did not work either. What really rounded it off though was the view from our room; a motorway. I think that pretty much sums up the room.

As you can see, overall I did not really have good experiences of this hotel, but it was fine due to the fact we only slept there and that is what I think this hotel is best for. If you are a school or a couple looking for a cheap weekend away to visit Paris then this hotel would be fine. You should be prepared to have transport though, as it can be about a 20-30 minute drive to places such as The Louvre and The Eiffel Tower

Room Tip: The room I was in (by the motorway) did not hide noise well, I recommend trying to get a room at the...

We stayed here on two occasions. The first was during our Topdeck tour and the second about 6 weeks later when we went back to Paris on our own. Both times we found the service to be pleasant and helpful. There is wifi access for €1 for 24 hours and this can be accessed in the rooms. The rooms are quite small and difficult to move around in but the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable allowing for great night sleeps. The bathrooms were similar to that on a cruise ship but were clean, with towels and hand towels provided. The rooms were cleaned each day to an appropriate standard. While it is a little way out of the main city it was only 2 minutes walk to the metro stop (Gallieni) and took approximately half an hour and 1 stop to reach the centre of the city (of course depending where you were going it may take a little longer or require another change). There is a shopping complex close by with a supermarket, some clothes stores and some eateries. We found the staff at the supermarket extremely unhelpful and rather quite rude. Not the nicest first experience of Paris!
The staff were helpful, even suggesting that we print our travel itineraries from the Internet cafe down the road rather than paying to print them from there. No laundry facilities on site but a laundrette about 5 minutes walk up the road (make sure you have your own laundry powder).

Downsides - breakfast was nothing special, typical European really with croissants, bread, cereals, tea, coffee and juice. The location is a little bit dodgy, but nothing too bad.

The area around the hotel is pretty grim however it is only thirty seconds walk from the metro station.
The room was small and a little tatty but the beds were very comfortable. Staff were helpful and allowed us to keep my friends bike in the room.
I would recommend this hotel if your out for a night on the beers in Paris with the lads and need a cheap place to stay.

Not a fan of this hotel...but we stayed here with a tour group (although some of the others said they had seen worse).
It was in a pretty crap area, and we certainly didn't feel safe to go outside at night.
The rooms were small with barely any space between the single beds. The carpet was threadbare and stained, awful pillow, uncomfortable bed.
The room did have its own bathroom...which resembled something from a caravan...but the water was hot, so thats a bonus.
Very noisy room which was right near an expressway.
The breakfast was average...but not all together awful.
