“Great discovery, young and devoted staff, good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012

Great evening, very helpful serving staff, and good food overall. I would file it under "nouvelle cuisine" with usual espumas and jelly ;). Avoided the common mistake of too much/many spices. Dishes were subtle and tasty. Only one mistake when announcing cod had been replaced by turbot without any apology or anticipation. But overall we were very lucky to find this micely decorated and refined restaurant in Issoire!!!

“Excellent restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2012

We ate here during a weekend in the region. Although there was nothing vegetarian on the menu, the chef prepared us an exquisite five course meal, including soup, salad and risotto, with an excellent cheese board and delicious lemon tart dessert. Washed down with a fine red Burgundy wine this was a meal to remember. It’s rare to find such “haute cuisine” vegetarian food in France, or such a sympathetic chef willing to go out of his way to adapt his menu and make it. The candlelit ambiance is relaxed and chic; the service friendly and efficient. This restaurant is highly recommended.
