WOW!!! This is only for those who are in search of perfection! I knew I was in for a treat when the airport transportation passed through the gated entrance, only to find our personal 'golf cart' and fruity Island drinks ready for us, while on route to the room . The tranquility of the landscape makes it impossible to do anything but relax. The 'bath like', clear blue water make for panoramic views from almost any place on the property. We enjoyed sitting on the beach while watching others take part in kayaking, paddle boarding and floating in the cove. Sidney and his staff are simply amazing....from delicious menu choices, spotless rooms, on site activities and attention to detail.....The Cove has it. We even met folks that I believe will be long time friends! You can be sure that we'll be back.

Room Tip: All rooms are comfortably spaced and enjoy some sort of outdoor patio space...you can't go wrong...

Based on all the other reviews I had to see for myself how nice this place was. My hats off to the Cove team to make our experience wonderful. The only thing I could comment on that would have been a little better was the size of the shower. They are beautiful showers but very small. (Not sure if all rooms have the same size shower) My wife could hardly shave and I had to turn off the water to wash and we are averaged size. Besides that everything exceeded our expectations!

My advise if you plan to visit this property is to rent a car for two or three days so you can experience the island. There are some wonderful beaches and restaurants outside of the property worth a visit. You can rent jeeps directly from the property or you can call someone local and save $20 - $30 per day. We rented from the property...

We spent a day on Harbour Island and that was fun. The water taxi was a 20 minute drive from the resort. (Rent a golf cart so you can experience the entire island) Golf cart for the day cost $30 - $45 based on you rent it from. Harbour Island is a totally different experience than Eleuthera. Much more commercialized with some shopping and several great restaurants.

We definitely plan to return!!

We traveled as a family to The Cove for a 10 day stay in July and would return in a heartbeat! The location is quiet, calm, breathtakingly beautiful and a welcome respite from hectic daily schedules. After careful research we settled on The Cove and as first time guests we were hopeful that all we had read about would be what we found when we arrived.

If you are looking for a quiet island and resort without the commercialization found so many places then The Cove would be a great fit! No shopping centers, no rushing to the beach or pool at 7am to "save" seats, no traffic, no renting beach equipment by the hour...just a beautiful location with everything you need to make memories to last a lifetime!

The Cove is family friendly and welcomes children- something we were grateful for as this is not the case at some resorts. Beach amenities are easily accessible (paddle boards, kayaks, floats for the ocean, snorkel equipment, beach toys) so if you are traveling with kids all you need to worry about is sunscreen! Special kudos to the beach staff who help with a smile each and every day- Robinson and Carlos are assets to The Cove for their amazing service to guests!

Accommodations are extremely clean and fresh looking! Kudos to housekeeping for keeping all of the white sparkling white- not an easy task I can imagine. Flying pests are kept to a minimum with maintenance spraying and we were appreciative! No see-ums still got us a bit- but far, far, less than if we had been somewhere else.

Budget accordingly for resort priced food...similar to any island resort and we found no different than if you ate somewhere else on Eleuthera or Harbor Island. We were well fed for our stay and can recommend the gumbo, sushi, fresh fish of the day, and steak. Taxis on the island are expensive but worth it for a special day trip.

Our visit can be summed up by one of our children who said the following as we were walking out of dinner, "You know the saying that if something is too good to be true it probably is? Well, they haven't visited The Cove." We'll be back!

What an amazing experience in every way - food, service, rooms, view...beach - all heavenly! Compared to the best of the best around the world this place is on a level by itself. No wonder so many celebrities come here to vanish in luxury. Surely, heaven will be similar, I hope....

I have been traveling to Eleuthera for over 30 years and have finally discovered the gem that is The Cove. Sidney Torres has created an absolutely breathtaking 5 star resort that is unrivaled in the Bahamas. He and his staff made me feel like family. The service is top notch led by the manager Chortan. You feel you are staying at a private guest house and not a corporate hotel. The rooms and grounds are immaculate. If you love to lay in a hammock in paradise, this is the place for you. The views, service and food are unmatched. Even though the resort is family friendly, I almost never heard any noise and rarely ran into other guests. At dinner, everyone meets in the restaurant to swamp stories and compare tan lines. The food is some of the best I've had in the Bahamas and I was even able to order a real New Orleans gumbo. It also boosts one of the only sushi bars I've seen in the Bahamas. The Sushi Bar has the best view of any in the world. It's really quite breathtaking. I actually found myself envious of the chef when I left, that he gets to experience that view everyday. I stayed in an oceanfront suite. The rooms design is clean and modern. Simple and very clean, but high end fixtures and furniture. The bathroom was very nice. The best water pressure of any hotel in the Bahamas. Loved the Molton Brown products. I 'm hooked. It's all about the million dollar views out of the front sliding glass doors. And did I mention the color of the ocean? I can only describe it as a gin colored blue green. Crystal clear and warm. Sidney has obviously traveled the world and experienced the finer things in life. He has taken the best of what he has learned and applied it at The Cove. You have a life long customer!

Room Tip: I've stayed in the main building and in a beach front house. The beach front obviously has the b...

Greetings from the sunny Bahamas. We are so happy that you had a wonderful vacation and we could cater to your every need. Indeed, our sushi bar is the only one on Eleuthera and surrounding islands, and I agree the view is spectacular. We look forward to your future stay at The Cove.

"The Cove" WOW what an experience. Love this place for the way they take care of you. From the time you land on the Island, you are pampered just as if you owned the place!

Every person that works there always had a smile on their face. They were constantly asking what they could do to make us comfortable, or our stay more enjoyable.

The accommodations were superior; everything we needed was right at our fingertips. The View of the Caribbean could be seen right outside our front door. It was very quiet and laid back…just what we needed to get away from the hustle of everyday life back in the states.

I was extremely surprised at the dinning menu, which had dishes from around the world. In fact, if there was a special dish you wanted, the Chef was more than happy to accommodate you.

So when you think of a place that you want to go to get away from it all, but have Luxury at your beck and call...go to The Cove Eleuthera. It is THE SPOT that no one should miss out on!
