“Outstanding and good value too!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2012

We had two nights here after travelling around Brittany and Normandy with friends and found Vincent and Corinne to offer us a wonderful end to a great time in France. they were so welcoming and hospitable and nothing was too much trouble. Thier two year old son, Paul was a delight too and we were pleased to let him enjoy the thrill of sitting in our classic cars!!!
The rooms were very comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities and a tv - the only Chambre D'Hote that we found to have this facility.
The icing on the cake or should I say the cream on the dessert was the food! We could not beleive the quality and quantity for 28 euros. The bargain of the holiday! It was made with flair and passion and ate with appreciation!!

Full marks to you Vincent and Corinne and we wish you a successful venture!

Vincent, Corinne and their two year old son Paul warmly welcome you to their refurbished Chateau . Nice large grounds complete with ancient moat and history. We had one of the large rooms (4 in all for us) with jet tub. Breakfasts are complete and large enough to last us through a 2:00 golf round finish at Omaha Beach Golf Club. Quiet rural location just outside Bayeaux which guests should visit for dinner.Large dining table encourages mingling with other guests over breakfast.
Try the optional dinner cooked and served by Vincent and Corinne, several courses that would be hard to beat in nearby restaurants.
Their son is a delightful charmer carefully watched over by his mother. We could only stay three nights for they were completely booked. Make your reservations online or call. The website is quite good

We stayed at Chateau de Damigny for two nights at the end of July, and we loved it. Everything about the place is exquisite. The place is beautiful inside and out. Gorgeous!
Vincent is a PHENOMINAL cook. What talent! We had the most amazing dinner there one night. Everything was mouth watering. Just when you think dinner is over, he brought out more food. Breakfast blew me away as well, delicious! The place is nice and quiet, fully air conditioned, and the beds are nice and comfy. I'd stay here again in a heart beat.

Stayed here for 3 nights from 21st July with wife and 11 year old son.Could not fault Chateau de Damigny in any way.Vincent, the owner, was an excellent host and did everything to make our stay as memorable as possible. The Chateau is in a quiet location and is a lovely building. We stayed in one of the suites and found it very comfortable. We ate all 3 nights at the Chateau and the food was superb on each evening.Wine and apertif are included in the 28 euro cost of the dinner and think you would be hard pressed to find such high quality food at such a reasonable price.Breakfast also superb.Would not hesitate to stay here again and would definitely recommend Chateau de Damigny.

We were delighted with this bed and breakfast stay. The welcome was warm and the room charming with a modern bathroom. There was plenty of car parking. The breakfast was fabulous. Lots of different home made jams to sample. Because Vincent spoke English we were able to get lots of useful information about the area from him. Sadly we weren't able to try the dinner which was unavailable on the evenings we were there.

We had a very pleasant 2 night stay here, highlighted by the food... Even with a bountiful breakfast spread laid out, Vincent will offer to cook up some eggs with ham and cheese for you & we'd suggest you take him up on it. It is also worthwhile to make a reservation for dinner at the chateau- be prepared to eat your way through dish after delectable dish. The chateau is approached by a shady private lane and has a tucked away feel, but in reality it's cloIse to good roads and we found this location worked out great for going into Bayeux and to the Normandy beaches. The rooms are nicely decorated and spacious and Vincent and his family charming.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Chateau and an important part was eating dinner with the host and other guests. We have done this previously in France and have found it an entertaining and enjoyable experience. The food was superb and also excellent value for money.
The Chateau has been sympathetically modernised and provides spacious and comfortable accommodation and the location is very convenient for Bayeux and the channel ports. I would recommend a visit and dinner.
