Stayed here for a week recently and would recommend it. The hotel is situated only 10-15 minutes walk from the town centre which is ideal as it is away from the noise and hustle and bustle at night and the walk is by the lake.

Our hotel room was a bit 'basic' as in it was adequate for our needs but looked and felt dated, although the bathroom appeared to be new and updated. We had a balcony overlooking the outdoor swimming pool and the lake.

The staff were polite and spoke good english. Breakfast was typically european, ie croissants, toast, butter, cheese, cake (!) but it was more than adequate.

Would recommend this hotel certainly for it's location and overall ideal for any couple on a week or two week stay.

nice hotel, staff is very friendly and the hotel is quite in a wonderfull place ( front of Garda Lake) , the room are very big and clean and the price is quite cheap for this kind of hotel.

Our week's stay at the Oliveto was disappointing. We travelled with Thomsons. The rooms were small, the swimming pool so very cold, breakfasts rather limited, the evening meals were inadequate and very boring, and no room in the reception area to sit for a drink. Certainly not a 4T hotel by past experiences.

My husband and I loved this hotel as soon as we walked in. The rooms are spacious and the hotel is very clean. Had a balcony that overlooked the lake and the Swiss Alps. The staff is super friendly and very helpful with requests.

Breakfast was great. Had selection of cereal, breads, fruit, yogurt, pastries, sandwich meat and cheese.

It is about a 15 minute walk to town and the ferry, but the sidewalk runs along the Lake. Felt very safe walking in the early morning and late at night.

We would stay again in a heartbeat.
