We were staying at the Hotel Villa Rosa on a half board basis & decided to "upgrade" one evening for our wedding anniversary to the hotel's a la carte restaurant, the Rose & Sapori believing the standard of food would be much better. How wrong we were! My main course was beef tenderloin. It arrived oozing blood all over the plate. It was accompanied by 2 slices of carrot cut so thin you could almost see through them,2 slices of courgette (cut equally as thinly ) and a slice of aubergine, nothing else. The plate was stone cold & so was all the food. The service was sporadic at best with the waiters more concerned with the diners from "outside " the hotel than those of us staying there (or at least that was the impression we got). If this is supposed to be fine dining I'm not impressed.
