My family and I stumbled across La taverna around 1pm and were directed down to the cellar. The atmosphere is worth the visit, rooms and nooks decorated with all sort of items.
Our waiter knew his wine well and discussed the local vino rosso we chose to accompany our meals. The bruschetta was excellent, the ravioli in butter with sharp cheese was also excellent but a bit on the small side with only 5 pieces of pasta. The lasagne was a hit with our 7yo daughter and my wife loved her soup. Total bill of 38 euro was reasonable.
