BRAVO to Cinzia, Marina, Alex and all their Staff, but especially to Mamma Teresa, the unbeatable chief of “La Corte Rosada”.
Unforgettable our initial approach, when she came to pick us up at the Castiadas airstrip upon landing from Switzerland (no “hello” but just “don't tell anybody that the chief of Corte Rosada came to pick you up...” ) and those 10 minutes “ride” on her “Fiat Doblo” at over 100Km/h through the narrow Sardinian roads to La Corte Rosada.
In the meantime her sympathy, Venetian courtesy (that's were she is original from) and natural professionalism came out : PR, Purchase manager, Staff chief, Restaurant Maitre, Accountant... what else : this is “Mamma Teresa” !
What to say about Cinzia's kitchen, simple and tasty, a combination of Sardininian an Venice-style dishes : “Porceddu” (baby pig, roasted on aromatic wood-flame), malloreddu (typical sardinian potatoes “gnocco” filled with cheese, in tomatoes sauce), lasagne Bolognese… and so many others.
How to describe Marina's delicatessen : eye-opening breakfast's croissants, daily home-baked cakes, after-dinner “ceadas” (Sardinian specialty, a sort of “crèpe” filled with freshly home-made goat cheese, fried in light oil and topped with local honey).
How to explain the taste of their home-made Mirth liqueur... poured in a chilled small glass with ice formed in the bottom.
BRAVO to Alex (son of Marina) for the maintenance of all rooms, the garden, the golf-course like grass care.
Unbeatable the ambience, the friendly approach of all guests, the refined architectural style, the rustic lighting surrounding your candle-light dinner, in the arcade or under a giant carob tree.

An one week sunny holiday at Corte Rosada - with a two old baby this is the ideal place to stay: only 10 rooms, very quite and clean place, nice outside atmosphere with lots of flowers, trees and painted stones (our little one just loved these). The food and the wine were just perfect! Not to forgot about Cinzia, Marina, Nona, Alex and Jean Paolo - very friendly and also ready to help. Although the place is located 2 min drive to the nearest beach it is worth to stay in it - by car you can easily reach all the attractions - horse (pony) ridding, the golf club, the main big store in town, the fruit market, Costa Rei's, Simius, Campolungu beaches, the Marina...

If you are seeking a magical place to stay in Villasimius, I have found you the perfect place!! La Corte Rosada have their doors open for you and your family. As you arrive the iron gates overlook a ray of coloured houses. There are flowers of many colours surrounding the beautiful little houses. The loving and wonderful Teresa is the owner with her beautiful daughters Cinzia and Marina. She also shares her handsome grandson Alex, that assists her on the premises keeping the grass and flowers inviting. The rooms look like little houses that give a feeling of warmth. The rooms are specious and very clean by Anna. The dinners are amazing and prepared by Cinzia and Marina. Dessert is always a surprise by Marina. Oh my God it's amazing!!! Paolo make sure the service is "next to none" and very enjoyable. He has a warm and gentle manner.Breakfast has a variety of pastries, fruit, yogurt and juices. Teresa with her sincere and genuine smile invites you and your family to be part of her beautiful family. We now have a family in Villasimius at La Corte Rosada and we look forward to our next visit!!! Mario and Libby

We stayed there in June 2012 for 5 night with our small son. The hotel is located around 1 km far from villasimius center, a bit up close to the hills. It has a fresh air in the evenings. It can be easily reached by car. We can only only confirm the friendliness and hospitality of the owners and cleanliness of the rooms. We took the half pension option, and there is large menu to choose from. The quality of the food was very good and definitely not small portions. The breakfast was a bit poor but it is similar everywere in Italy in general (no cheese or meat products). A bit of italian knowledge would be handy for communication. The TV in the room was very small.
