My husband and I have stayed at the Hotel Seggio--sitituated in the heart of medieval Vieste for the past 13 years. Although the rooms are very basic, simplly furnished with tiny baathrooms, the housekeeping is immaculate.in this family-run hotel. Most of the rooms have balconies with sweeping views over the Adriati, and there is an attractive small pool, besides. . Food in the restaurant is fresh, varied, well prepared --mostly Apulian specialties, seafood, vegetables and delicious pasta and risotti. My husband and I always look forward to our return. We have stayed in many luxurious places from Capri to Venice--but none pleases us more, in the long run, than the little Hotel Seggio.
