4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

We arrived late at night off season and were the only guests but still got great hospitality! A clean room, lovely host and a great italian breakfast. The way up was a sure site for a small pastorali village. If you are around- don't hesitate and stay the night.

Beautiful surroundings of the Nonno Luigino, nice weather and welcoming staff made the stay here exceptional. The Agriturismo is located high above the Sorrento coast and offers nice views to the mountains from the terraces (and you have your semi-private terrace with the room). And the old owners have been extremely welcome in despite they did not speak any language except Italian.
The restaurant has been closed due to low season, but we were offered some water and wine from the restaurant, and then they offered bread (it would seem strange if someone takes a bottle of wine and does not eat anything for dinner?). In fact bread has turned out to be a dinner with some appetizers, smoked ham and couple sorts of cheese, followed by chocolate pie. At that was at no cost...
What could be better - The owners do not speak English (neither German), and English-speaking staff was available only in the morning. The restaurant was closed on Sunday and Monday due to low season (but no such information was available during booking), and you need to take a car to get to the closest restaurant in the night. One other minor note - the bedroom ceiling was definitely low and caused some headache afterwards.
Generally, it is a perfect location for couples and families, a bit out of the crowded cost, especially in high season/

Only two nights a staid here with a friend and our two 11-yr old daughters, but i can recommend this fantastic agriturismo very much! Lovely family, (Luigino, his brother, sister Mena and father, and maybe more i didn't meet?)
We had the two very spacious and clean apartments down the stairs, with the breathtaking view over the hills. Sitting in front of our room on the terrace, under the vique-tree with a home made plate procicuto, cheese, wine and not to forget the more than delicious olive oil to wipe our bread in. You really have to taste the olive oil!! The girls loved the swimming pool. We traveled with local transport, so you need to take a local bus from the railway-station in vico equenze which brings you up in about 15 min. If you are in hurry, it's less convenient because the bus only drives onnce an hour, and off course never in time, but thats also the charm of traveling with local transport.
The only minus I can say is breakfast; I don't like the typically sweet italian breakfast. I missed the fresh fruit

Room Tip: privacy and excellent view, own terrace, sitting under de vique tree, two rooms/appartements down th...

Nonno Luigino has everything you could want from an agriturismo. Mena and her family are so lovely and welcoming, and she also speaks english. We had our wedding reception there, and it was magical !! Mena arranged fireworks and flowers, candles down the walkway and even an authentic band from Naples. My family loved it! We danced until 2AM. The delicious food is all from the land, and prepared fresh from there amazing chiefs. The views are breathtaking, nestled in the hillside, and the rooms are clean clean clean!!

Room Tip: Every room is clean and unique.

Warm and welcoming hosts. Good rooms: spacious, clean. Great for kids: 11 year old daughter loved to help in the garden (picking vegetables etc) and have a look at the animals. Good pool. Last but not least.... Great food in the restaurant.

The Nonno Liguino is a lovely family run, agriturismo accommodation. During our stay there we felt right at home - nestled in the hillside, the place is welcoming, quaint and definitely a rich experience of Southern Italy!
You'll definitely need a car to explore the area, parking is available and the area is very secure. The beds are comfy and the rooms are clean. The food is good, and the use of local produce in the cooking makes it that bit more delicious!
