“Next thing to Paradise!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2013

We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel and as soon as we got there we wished it were more. The building is like a castle in beautiful gardens, vines and flowers everywhere. It reminded us of the set of the film "Mama Mia." Lovely clean swimming pool at the end of a walkway covered in flowers! The staff couldn't do enough for us and we felt like we were guests in their house. The rooms were massive and the view was stunning - over the bay to Naples and Versuvius. The food .... well I'm a foody and I was really impressed. Breakfast was the usual fare, cereal, salami & cheeses, freshly chopped fruit and all presented beautifully. As much coffee as you want and the main thing to note was HOME MADE CROISSANTS which were to die for. We nearly stayed another night just for them.

Dinner was really good and reasonable, wine was £12 a bottle, all well chilled. Pictures below.

If you are humming and haring, don't hesitate, stay here!!!!!!

Room Tip: All wonderful! There were three of us and we had 2 adjoining rooms.

I have been to the area of Naples and Sorrento before and it was so much better to stay at this hotel because it was not touristy or crammed with people. The Hotel was spacious; the outside areas were amazing, so were the views (along with pool area) bedrooms were grand and large (my parents had a four poster bed!). Now most importantly... The food was better than any chain hotel! The Croissants were heavenly and there was a variety of food layed out for breakfast! You can also stay for dinner and that was yummy too! The staff couldn't do enough for us (they carried our bags up and down steps which helped) and the manageress spoke excellent English.
This hotel is good to stay in because it is only 20 mins to Sorrento, and 30 mins to Naples (which could be a downside but it keeps you away from the crowds, especially if you stay in the area at peek time) and with the pool, there is something to do if you have free time! There is good parking too but if you want to stay there I would suggest having a car!
It is very family friendly and great all round. I would go back there again any time!

We were greeted and welcomed like friends...we were the first guests in the new season and were spoiled by the hosts. The Suite we reserved was huge, nice living room, heavenly bed a big bathroom. Unfortunately, since we were the first ones we found out that the warm water did not run . The plumber was called immediately to fix the problem - on a Sunday!!
The Villa is amazing, an ideal place for celebrations of all kinds. It is set on top of the hills of Vice Equense, overlooking the sea and Naples and Vesuvius.
The breakfast was fantastic, the Chef did bake cakes and Muffins just for the two of us...
