On our arrival we were met at the train station and escorted to the gated parking area. From there we transferred to a small car driven by Denise's son, Fabrizzi. The road is amazing - it is an old donkey train. The vista from the villa is breathtaking. We are met by Denise and given a complete tour of the property followed by a wonderful mid-afternoon tea in the breakfast room. The villa is over 200 years old and has been lovingly and immaculately rstored over six years with superb results. Our room is fantastic: spacious and exquisitely furnished with Juliette doors opening to the amazing view of the sea and the town below. We never want to leave the window, but the property has numerous sitting and lounging areas, so we venture out for a swim in the pool - also with the same fantastic view.We are delivered back to our car by Giovanni or Fabrizzi whenever we want to go out, (Sorrento is lovely and very nearby) but mostly we prefer to relax and enjoy the property. Breakfast was fabulous: varied, fresh & homemade. We booked only 2 days, but wished we had booked longer. Of all the B&Bs we have stayed at this is the best - a definite 10 out of 10.
