“Great Location, Friendly staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2014

We stayed two nights here with our toddler before moving on to Lucca. The hotel is right opposite the beach and a short walk to the marina. There is a large park nearby as well for the little ones.

The hotel is a family run hotel and the staff are very friendly. The room was clean and had a fridge which was very useful. The breakfast was enjoyable.

The hotel is reasonably priced. A good 3* hotel and I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is fairly easy to get to by train, about a 10 minute walk away from the station which has regular connections to Pisa, Florence and Lucca. Unfortunately there was a train strike the day we arrived so we had to get a taxi from Pisa, this took about 40 mins. Essentially though It is quite easy to get to and from the airport however you choose to travel

We were staying 3 nights at this hotel but ended up staying 6. We were lucky to get room No.2 which has a balcony overlooking the foreshore. No.1 is the same. It was relaxing sitting on the balcony watching the world go by! On the foreshore there are plenty of places to eat, have coffee or gelato. The owners were extremely nice, room was excellent and breakfast filling with good coffee. A fair walk to the railway station - takes 15 mins. Taxi is the best way if pulling a suitcase.

This three day break followed a hectic four days in Rome and we were definitely looking to chill out.
We had a sea view room, which was absolutely spotlessly clean, the furnishings were excellent and modern, and the beds huge and comfortable.
The breakfasts were ample with lots of choice for the pickiest guests.
This is truly a family run hotel and nothing was too much trouble.
Lots of lovely Italian eateries within walking distance and having hired a car, a good place to stay to visit other places eg. Pisa
A fabulous market. Loved it.
I have no problem in recommending this hotel unreservedly.

I choose this hotel walking in Viareggio, at first they were very easy going and friendly. The problem is that the rooms not in front of the sea are full of noises from the birds and with the light of the sun you cannot sleep. So you have to wake up at six, after that if you ask to the hotel owner to do something they tell you that they don't have other rooms free (in may???) and that the older woman owner of the hotel sleeps without many problems (may be she is old and she doesn't hear). Be carefull if you choose this hotel.

Stayed with a group of 7 girlfriends for a long weekend. Had never been to Tuscany before so wanted a beachy location close enough to visit Florence, Pisa and Lucca. The hotel is right on the seafront, I had a room at the back but that didn't really matter. The rooms are really clean, you even get slippers! A great family-run hotel; Riccardo and his family were so friendly, helpful and accommodating. I would love to come back and bring my husband and son.

A bit unsure what to expect as never been to Viareggio before. Hotel was fantastic, right on the front, convienient for beach, shops and transport. We had a room with a balcony which was an added bonus. Room and hotel looked recently updated, furnishings as new and bathroom lovely, fabulous linen towels.
Family run hotel, mainly Italian clientel, but all made you welcome.
Even though our room was on the street, the shutters and door kept out most of the noise.
Breakfast buffet fresh and ample.
Would go there again.
