“Excellent!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2014

We stayed in Viareggio for a night on our way from Cinque Terre to Florence. This family-owned hotel is truly special! They were very attentive and made sure we were comfortable in our room, which was warm, very clean, and cozy. The breakfast was absolutely incredible! I would recommend it very much, excellent value for money. And Viareggio is worth the stop...

Regarding the hotel - it's excellent! Me and my wife, we felt homy and the morning home breakfast, with the delicious cappuccino made by the landlord was ....mmmm :)
The landlord doesn't speak english, but his son speaks.
If you visit the hotel, ask them to recommend you good restaurants. That's what we did and we found good restaurants with no service fees!

One recommendation for room N4 ... there's plenty of room to put small fridge and something to dry visitors beach towels, because we missed these things.

Regarding the noise ... it wasn't the most quite place I've been. There are some scooters passing by from time to time.

P.S. If your plan is to do your seaside there ... I don't recommend it! the beaches are dirty and the sea water as well. If you really wanna do your italian seaside - go as south as possible!

If you decide to stay at this place, ask for room number 6, if you want a nice Italian Terrazzo.
Clean, friendly, simple, convenient. A/C, TV, WiFi and Ikea in the room.
Breakfast is ok, as the price...and the one-man ( show ) staff, was really very kind.

Room Tip: room Nr 6!!!

This is a small, very convenient hotel. Parking for our car was perfectly in front of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and providing a breakfast with a lot of choice.
The rooms were clean and Ikea style

This is a good, clean hotel just minutes from all the attractions of Viarreggio. Pleasant, warm, clean, spacious room with a pleasing continental breakfast. The only snag was that the room had an ashtray and people had clearly been smoking and as non smokers we found this unpleasant. If you are smokers this may not bother you but for a hotel that tries very hard to get it right this needs resolving

Room Tip: If you are non smokers ask for a non smoking room in advance

This place is a gem. The staff/proprietors are very friendly and helpful. I had a large clean single room with a small balcony overlooking quite a characterful street. My bathroom was separate from the bedroom but private to me, large clean and well equipped. Handy for just about everything in Viareggio and very inexpensive. Good breakfast included

We were on our way to the north and the Italian riviera and found this absolute gem. Run by a family, this hotel combines a great feeling of comfort and home, with a feeling of vacation and "a special occasion". I cannot thank enough for the great service we've received, starting with aid with parking (free!), restaurant recommendation (a really great local restaurant) and the breakfast served (very varied, of great quality- Danishes, cheese, bread, all sort of jams and chocolate, and the host makes for you the best cappuccino). We checked in pretty last minute so we were given an outstanding price (45e) for a huge room, with terrific design and a really nice bathroom, with good wifi! There's nothing bad and no buts regarding this hotel, I am sure to come back if I'm around!
