“Grand hotel royal, Viareggio”

Very nice hotel with a very posh dining room, excellent service and delicious food.
To be recommended. Viareggio is a nice little town with a maket right outside the hotel every Thursday. In addition there is a market every day a little further uptown. Long sandy beaches, several cafes and restaurants. We were there in October and the weather was nice and warm still. Probably the town is somwhat crowded in summertime.

“Italian Style”

This Hotel maintains a high standard and quality that brings back guests year after year
It has retained the ambients of style with its chandeliers and superb staircase. The staff
go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your holiday'
unlike many hotels there is still waiter service at dinner. The location is ideal for visits to
Pisa and Florence that can be reached by bus and train and Viareggio has all that is needed
on holiday

Room Tip: Choose a toom that has asea view

“Great hotel to stay in”

We stayed there just one night in October and we really liked it.

After visiting Florence and Pisa, we felt like resting a bit and staying by the sea side. We really enjoyed staying at Viareggio though there off-season. We had a very spacious room at the upper corner of the hotel and we really liked the view.

The kindness and politeness of the staff is also worth mentionning.

Room Tip: Take a seaview room. The sunset is really nice! If you are looking for quiet, do not take a seeview...
