“Great front desk staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 weeks ago

I was here in 2012 actually but I cant find that year I the list... so, my impressions are very good, hotel itself is very modern and they have a good restaurant. Swimming pool is a great place to spend your afternoon. Very pleasant and funny asian guy at front desk made my day everytime I saw him and he even remembered me when I came back to Varese the other time. I hope he still works there! :)

I check in tiredly after a long flight and factory visit and found no drinking water in my room!

Called the room service and they responded "If you found then you have or you need to buy" then I question on the small welcome card mentioning the bottled water minibar is at your disposal and only then they sent a small little bottle of water into my room !

Came back from long meeting second day and found no drinking water again and they responded the drinking water is only for the first night upon check in !

I will tell my supplier not to put me in this hotel again for this entire life !

We stayed here two nights at weekend. I got great value for money. This is really nice and clean hotel. Rooms were nice and quite big and there were also big balconys. Our children (11 & 13) like pool area, unless it wasn't heated.Breakfast was average.

Hotel area is peaceful and there is big horse track in neighbour. Unfortunately there wasn't raceday when we visited. Hotel is situated a couple kilometres out to city center and I think that you maybe need own car. There is good and free parking space in the hotel.

Here during the first week of September. Slightly warm and muggy weather. Yet, the AC did not work at all. The rooms are okay. Beds are stiff. Hotel is clean.

Breakfast is simple and okay.

WIFI is 15 euros a day.

Free parking.

We'd only return in cooler weather and if rate lower than $150/night.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and from the momment we arrived we got to most wonderful welcoming from the staff.
The hotel is very big and because we staied there for quit a while they put us in a quit room so we wont be disturbed.
The room was big and very nice and relexing with a big TV and very nice view.
The hotel has many attractions to offer, a pool, billiard table, table tenis,Gym so it was really cool to come back to the hotel because we had many othings to do with our time.
the best thing about the hotel is the staff, at the front desk we always got every thing we needed if it was maps of various places or good advise about where to eat or buy presents.
the hotel has a big parking space which is always great.
the desing is really beautiful and it is rnice to just seat in the loby and relax,
The only disadvantage is that the hotel is a 20 minutes walk away from the center but it gives you a chance to see the city :).

This hotel has a lot going for it: clean and new furnishings, an attentive and pleasant front desk, balconies with screens, a swimming pool, fitness center and various recreational options (pool table, ping pong). But unless you have a car, be prepared to walk a lot to have a meal in town (as other reviewers have noted, the hotel's restaurant and overall food service are not up to standard, so you will want to go into town to eat). It is a 2 km walk to the center, and the bus service is infrequent, so bring good walking shoes. Be warned that there is a fee for the internet, which in our room was spotty (we had to stand by the bathroom door for a strong signal). A taxi to the Milan airport was 65 euros. This hotel has lots of potential, but just hasn't quite realized it yet.

Room Tip: The hotel faces a horse racing track that is brightly lighted at night. If you want privacy and a mo...

This hotel is clean and has decent rooms and facilities. However, the food is terrible, service is poor and quite rude and I expect better from a 4 star hotel. You can't get room service between 2.30pm and 6.30pm and they have vending machines rather than a mini bar- fine but they don't restock the vending machines even when requested.

The breakfast is disgusting- how do you manage to mess up cereal? The club sandwich was one if the most horrible things I've ever eaten. Wine is bad too and staff generally un knowledgeable/unhelpful. Would not recommend.
