Just ate here today after testing our cardiac/leg strength walking the steep streets of Todi. We stopped on our walk back down to our car. So glad we did! This was one of the best casual meals we had on our trip. Firstly, all the waitresses & the owner smiled at us despite the busy day they were having on All Saint's Day. The inside was totally full but we were offered one of the two outside tables in front, which I was glad to have to enjoy the cool air. The inside looked lovely, bright & welcoming also. The service was prompt & efficient despite the many patrons inside. We were not ignored at all by the two lovely young ladies serving. The food came out quickly, hot from the kitchen. The two pastas we had were both fresh & flavorful, the sausage was good, bread was excellent (the best bread in 3 weeks & heated too!). Total cost of the meal = 44 euro ( I liter water, 2 cokes, 0.5 liter house wine, 1 antipasti, 2 primi pastas, 1 secondi (sausage), caffe latte and cover charge). Good value compared to other meals on our trip.
Since we are staying in Orvieto, it was too far to return at night for dinner. Had it been more convenient, we both agreed we would have been happy to eat more meals here!
