“A great find”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2013

Cantina de Corvi isn't easy to locate, but well worth the effort. We went there in May on a cool and wet evening, however the warm greeting we received by Sara made up for that. Once shown to our table, Sara explained the menu and offered suggestions for both food and wine. The menu is fantastic with many unique, delicious sounding choices. This place is a real find with great food at reasonable prices, a cosy atmosphere and excellent service. By far one of the best restaurants in Spoleto, truly not to be missed.

“wonderful little place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2013

This is a great restaurant in Spoleo. Creative dishes and very attentive and friendly service. The wine is extraordinary. Try the biological Sangrita di Monefalco, which is a rare delight. All the food tastes better with it. If you travel through Umbria and feel like having something else (even seafood) this is the place to go. We had great gamberoni and Calamari. All tasted divine. The atmosphere was quiet and the hostess and the restaurant provide an atmosphere of casual elegance and make you feel very welcome. Don't miss out on this place while in town. Prices are fair.

“Cucina di prima classe nel ristorante familiare”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2013

The standard of cooking at this establishment is exceptionally good and the menu has an excellent selection of dishes. Sara, la cameriere, is very attentive and helpful and partner Francesco presents his top-class cooking to advantage.
We had beautiful gamberoni for primi and gnocchi with tartuffe and cod with chick-pea sauce as secondi. All were of an exceptionally high standard.Unfortunately ,on the evening that we went, a rather noisy group of 7 dominated the place initially as there was no-one else to mitigate their impact, but after they received their food, the pleasure of eating took over their attention and the noise level diminished whereupon the atmosphere improved considerably.
I was surprised to find to see so few people there; the quality of their imaginative menu composed of high class fresh ingredients deserves a more appreciative clientele. Do try this place for an excellent choice of first class food and wine at extremely reasonable prices.

“A True Find on a back street in Centro Spoleto”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2013 via mobile

After reading the fantastic reviews on TA...we set out for a nice lunch at Cantina de Corvi. It was a bit of a challenge to locate...it's down some stairs off the main pedestrian street..and around a corner..but then voila! We were warmly greeted by Sara and shown to a nice table. The menu is fantastic..with many unique, delicious sounding choices. With Sara's guidance we selected a deep fried cod surrounded by a chik pea cream. Yummy! For our primi it was a homemade mint ravioli with pecorino cheese and crispy bacon. WOW!! This place is a real treat. Reasonable prices. Sara runs the front..excellent. Francesco..the chef...one of the best. When in Spoleto...not to be missed! Our new favorite.

“Primo in Spoleto”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2012

After many meals in Italy (Rome, Amalfi Coast, and now Spoleto) in the last few weeks, we've found our favorite. Cantina de Corvi provided us with a delicious light lunch (a gently fried eggplant/tomato/mozzerella dish and a plate of very thiny sliced and then crisply roasted fresh pork with valerian greens, onion, and pine nuts -- scruptuous!) for only 20E. The place is charming inside and out, and the owner, Sara, is equally charming and gracious, taking time to describe the new seasonal menu and generally delighting us with her personality.

Sara and her boyfriend Francesco have been open only since January ('12) so reviews before that are out of date.

Meet us Friday (Oct 12) at 7:30.
