“Picturesque, peaceful and private”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2013

July 20 - July 27, 2013 - As there were 6 of us we booked both Villa Fillide C and Villa Fillide D. The Villas were perfect, clean, tidy and had all that you needed. The apartments are open plan, as well as the large double bed, there is a pull out sofa for 2. The terrace area has table chairs and BBQ. The setting is very private, peaceful and picturesque - all you could hear during the day was the braying of a donkey up in the hills behind and a cockeral crowing. You are surrounded by Orange trees. The pool area was great and our children loved it...so did we.
Lucia and Salvatore made us very welcome. Ideal for a family with easy access to Sorrento and Pompeii by train. From Sorrento we went to Capris for the day. Some excellent good value restaurants in Sant Agnello to suit the whole family.

My family and stayed in the large apartment above the pool this last July. We had a terrific time, from the local seafood we barbequed out on the deck, to the evening walk up to a hill village to witness the "Festival of the Madonna", Lucia and Salvatore were gracious and welcoming hosts. The bedrooms were fresh, clean and comfortable, the kitchen was just right... and the views from the deck - of the clean blue pool where our two girls played all the time - of Vesuvius - and the mountain sunsets, was truly special. We loved the walk up from town (10 minutes), which got us away from the traffic and major tourist areas, that ended in a walk through an orange and lemon grove. We also loved that when asked by locals where we were staying, they all smiled and seemed to know Lucia and Villa Flavia! Lucia's son (a marine biologist at home for the summer) even spent a day guiding us on an amazing kayak trip in the National Park on the tip of the peninsula! Getting to Pompei and Herculaneum was easy... and less crowded than getting on the train at Sorrento. Lastly, Lucia made a special effort to drive my aging Father and his wife to their early morning bus to the airport, and later she drove the rest of us down to Sorrento. Our one "noisy" night in Sorrento made us miss the country and the birdsong of Villa Flavia in Sant Agnello even more!

Thank you Lucia and Salvatore. We will be back!

We stayed at Villa Flavia in Limoni apartment for 12 nights in June-July 2013 and would recommend this property highly. The apartment was clean, spacious and well-equipped, it had an authentic italian feel but still had the essential modernities like air-conditioning.
The garden and pool area are spectacular, the owners were often to be seen outside tending to the grounds and doing maintenance, and they look after this gorgeous property with admirable care and attention. The pool is clean and peaceful, the perfect area to relax.
The location is great but we would recommend hiring a car, although that is only because we used our rental car most days to explore the Amalfi coast and for doing the shopping. It's an easy walk in to Sant'Agnello though, which is on the edge of Sorrento and has plenty of lovely bars and restaurants and fantastic views.
There are also fairly frequent buses in to Sorrento and I believe the train service is good although we didn't use it.
This is the perfect base for a holiday where you can mix total relaxation with exploration of the nearby attractions such as Capri, Pompeii, and the Amalfi Coast.

Room Tip: Limoni perfect for a couple.

Seven months ago we left sant' agnello and villa Flavia teary eyed......we decided we needed to come back to a town filled with wonderful welcoming people, but most of all to the owners of Villa Flavia, Lucia and Salvatore....we truly feel like we're part of their family....they open their property and hearts to you.....
There are many beautiful hotels etc. in this town, but our heart is with VILLA FLAVIA.....thank you Lucia and Salvatore for making our holiday priceless......

We stayed again at the Villa Flavia in October this year (2012) and it was even better than our May trip, This time the sun shone every day with the tem at a supprising 75%F +.
We booked the studio appartment and again it was lovely, fully equiped and had a really nice patio overlooking the garden, the views were breath taking. The only observation we would make about the appartment was that it could do with another kitchen wall unit to store dry foods such as bread and stuff but other than that it was perfect for our needs.
The town of Agnellow was much the same as was Sorrento our stay was enhanced by the lovely weather.
Once again the owners of the Villa Flavia Lucia and Salvatore were extreemly helpful and friendly and helped us into town on our last day to catch the bus to the Airport.
We would definatly recomend this Villa to all, nice and quiet but near to all the attractions such as Sorrento Naples and Pompi.
10 out of ten from us..

Stayed last week at Villa Flavia, the double room on the 2nd floor. Room had all amenities, kitchen, fridge, eating area, comfortable bed and bathroom. All was spotlessly clean with nice linens, was cold outside but airconditioning heated nicely. The owner gave us a ride to the Capri ferry which was very kind and helpful. Weather was not great and the rain poured down making quite a noise on the roof. Takes about 20 minutes to walk (uphill) from Corsa Italia, entrance to the Villa complex from the road is not as attractive as the Villa and the grounds around it. Once you get there it is beautiful, peaceful and quiet. We were able to park in the Villa's parking space, enclosed by an electric gate, and came and went as we pleased. WIFI was a bit patchy in the evenings as there was high demand. We were very satisfied, suited our needs perfectly.

My daughter and I stayed at Villa Flavia for nine days the end of September. We rented the two bedroom/two bath apartment on the second floor. The apartment was very clean and provided everything we needed in the way of housekeeping items during our stay. There’s a balcony on two sides with beautiful views of the nearby mountains, the Bay of Naples and the pool. At night we were able to see the fireworks that were set off along the shore. Twice a day we walked through the citrus orchard that leads to the main street to town. Everything we needed, food, wine, and transportation were within easy walking distance. Lucia and Salvatore were the most gracious of hosts, and very helpful in providing information and answering questions. I hope to return to Villa Flavia next fall.
