You want to stay in a cozy hotel where you are treated like family, well this is it!
We had a relaxing week, the hotel is run by a family who are most welcoming and helpful
in planning your daily excursions. In a quiet location and within walking distance to the train
station, bus stop and beach. We had ample hot water, the beds were comfortable and the a/c worked well for the month of July. There are many nice restaurants nearby. You will enjoy a free healthy breakfast surrounded by orange and lemon trees. The service is excellent, Paolo will assist you with anything, any problems he will try to solve it with a smile. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to all travellers with a budget.
Enjoy your stay & our Best Regards to Capri & Sorrento!

Room Tip: If available, ask for a room on the top floor with a balcony

I settled on this hotel as I had one night to fill before my room became available at another preferred property in sorrento.
if driving make sure it's an itty bitty car as the hotel is accessed by a narrow lane in true form for this area and the garage under the property is a juggle to get out of once you're in. although paolo is kindly on hand to assist in managing this.
a very simple hotel on the outskirts of the main central hubbub of sorrento.
the lane way on the way back after dinner was abit intimidating for a solo female as the lighting along the street is not very effective, so keep this in mind if you intend coming and going on your own at night and you're a nervous type.

What a fabulous small hotel. This place was spotlessly clean, and the family who manages this place were extremely kind and helpful and spoke excellent English. It seemed like they were working 24/7. Breakfast was very good with tons of items to chose from..and excellent coffee! Great place to stay.

Just returned from a ten night stay at Hotel Angelina, we had a top floor bedroom with a balcony. It's so nice (and rare) to get service that goes that extra mile these days. Paolo, his dad Tony, and all the staff were so helpfull and friendly, you feel like you are one of the family. The Hotel was spotless, the breakfast was great, the water hot, the beds comfortable, air conditioning quiet, is in a central but quiet (for Italy!) location. The airport coach stops just up the road on main street, ten euro's each way and the railway station is close by which runs from Sorrento to Naples. Moonlight restaurant is five minutes walk where the food, staff and prices are excellent.

Room Tip: Request top floor with balcony

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in the first week of September and used it to explore the Amalfi Coast and Capri. It is one train station away from the main Sorrento town and is good to be far from the touristy area.Paolo was very helpful after the booking and gave good advice and directions to the hotel which was helpful. Was also very good at giving recommendations for sight seeing and getting around locally. The property is just 5 minutes from the bus stop from where you get buses to the whole region. The room was very neat and clean and the breakfast (though a cold one) was sufficient to start us off for the day ! Would highly recommend it as a base for travellers wanting to explore this region...

We were welcomed at Angelina by the very friendly owner, Paolo who marked out important locations, good restuarants etc on a map for us. He lent us a travel guide in English on the area and gave us a train timetable. He was so lovely and helpful it really made staying in this hotel a unique experience.
The room was great and we had a balcony overlooking the beautiful orange groves.
Breakfast was good with freshly squeezed orange juice. lovely location. Better than being in the centre of Sorento which was too busy! We'll be back!
*We recommend Peppino for bargain but lovely food and wine. Try their legendary roast chickens!
Cafe Rosa around the corner is a lovely place for drinks, Enzo, one of the owners is very friendly.
The pizzeria opposite the hotel is also great -amazing service.
Better to stick around the S'Agnello area for better, cheaper food - in cental Sorrento it was a hectic and overpriced tourist trap and the food was poor compared to local restuarants and food in Naples.
Thanks to Paolo we found an amazing 'beach' , it's rocky but far less crowded than the other 'beaches' and there is a beautiful cove /lagoon to swim in. The locals call it the 'swimming pool'. Ask Paolo for directions. (I had to debate whether to share this on here as it seems a bit of a local secret!)

Room Tip: Ask for a balcony over the garden!

Hotel Angelina was one of our favorite stays on our trip. We stayed for 8 nights and we loved the hotel.
The rooms are basic but all you need for a stay exploring the amalfie coast and the beach everyday. The bathroom was extremely clean and shower was great.
Air-conditioning fully functional in room which made our stay even more comfortable.
The breakfast is fantastic, and the man who works in the breakfast room remembers everyones coffee orders each day which is sweet.
After a long day at the beach it was great to come back and have a cold beer downstairs (very well priced) and check your emails.
Paolo provided honest and Spot on reviews for restaurants and things to do in SantAgnello and sorrento. He always advised where the reasonable places where to go which made you feel that you weren't getting ripped off in the tourist traps that can be in sorrento.
Moonlight restaurant and Tonys bar are must visits in SantAgnello.
Thanks Paolo and Antonio for all your help throughout our stay, we had a great time.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the higher floor with a balcony, seems more quite and we never had any disturbance...
