“Wow!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2012

Probably the best meal I've ever had. Eight courses over two memorable hours with a steady supply of delicious local wines – perfecto!
There were just a handful of tables, each beautifully laid out and served by numerous experienced staff. It was an added treat to meet the head chef at the end of the meal.
It's not cheap but, for a special occasion, I'd highly recommend a visit.

“For food-lovers”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2012

We went to this restaurant with open heart and mind, ready to be amazed. And we were not dissapointed. Indeed, creativity as in no other similar place. All the dishes were arranged in a remarkably way, I would say - arty.. Nice atmosphere, excellent service. We had for every dish different wine and it was perfect choice for us. A note for something I found really something else, hope I remember well: one of the starters was a small glass container, closed, and when I opened it, because of the reaction with the air, the recipient was filled with a delicate smoke, smelling of burned wood. Title of this dish was about something smoked, nobody thought that it was about an instant process! Hoped I described it well and I don`t ruin the surprise for somebody who`s interested to try it.. As for the dish I loved most for the taste: the lamb, it was perfection. I had no free place for sweets; anyway, I had a bite of tarte Tatin from a friend, it was delicious! And yes, it`s pricy, but it`s also an amazing experience!

“Star Meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2012

The two Michelin stars are well deserved. Excellent service and help with the extensive wine list (yet no pressure to purchase highly priced wines only), and a remarkably creative menu. The chicken main course served in two courses is the best chicken we must have ever had, anywhere. Describing it would be to give away a surprise. Try also the cheese trolley. The tasting menu is also very creative but a bit too much in quantity. A meal memorable for style and elegance without the overbearing pretention one might sometimes find in restaurants as highly rated as this one is, located in a jet set hotel.

We had a truly amazing dining experience at this Michelin starred restaurant. Service impeccable. Complimentary apps and desserts. The best Tarte Tatin! A must visit if you are in the area.

“Creative but not great”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2012

My wife & I had one dinner here. The food preparation and presentation was very creative with many unusual flourishes, including small dishes provided gratis. Service was extraordinary. But the main dishes did not deliver the flavors that matched the presentation. The meat in both the lamb & and steak entres was a bit bland. The two different risottos were good, not great. Frankly, no dish was memorable for its superb taste, but only for its creativity. The wine list is terrific, with a great representation of local and Italian wines, but it's expensive. The wonderful Hafferstat Lagrein that we had for 69 Euros was available in a local gourmet store for 25 Euros. That's a hefty mark up. We enjoyed the experience of dining here but would not return because the food did not quite match the high price.
