“Ok, but nothing to write home about”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2013

Hotel Rovereto - great location, friendly people but they didn't really deliver.

The rooms are good and the people friendly, but there are a few big flaws. Your Internet will be unreliable and super slow. Non-existent on the higher levels.

And breakfast? It will be basic - super basic.

But, if you're ok with this, then it's an ok, but nothing more, hotel.

Hi, thanks for your review.
I understand there was a problem with WiFi last weekend during your stay. As you, many people attending your congress used WiFi at the same hours of the day (the hotel was full :-) ), and that caused a slow connection.
I've already managed to increase the bandwidth hoping that does not happen anymore.
It's by listening to customers like you that we make our service better.

For what it concerns breakfast, I see that our customers usually appreciate our offer. But we will look into it and try to make it even better.

We stayed at Hotel Rovereto for 10 days in July 2013 for a motorcycle trip through northern Italy. What a lovely inn! The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and accomodating to our large group of 14.. Location was ideal both for the motorcyclists in the group and for the rest of us. The hotel was perfect walking distance to the train and downtown Roverto. The breakfast buffet and restaurant were very good with excellent staff.
I would definitely return.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2012

For our first night of our vacation, we purposely didn't book a hotel, deciding to see how far we would want to travel. We ended up in the beautiful town of Rovereto, and didn't know much about it except that it was on our route to the Dolomites. Based on a little prior research, we decided to stay at the Hotel Rovereto, as we didn't want to spend a ton of time searching out hotels late in the day.

It was definitely one of the more pricey hotels we stayed in during our Europe trip, but since it was our first night in Italy we decided to go slightly over-budget. But we were extremely happy with the accommodations for the 3 of us. The room was comfortable, clean, and the breakfast (included) was fantastic. The staff was really friendly and helpful to assist us in finding a restaurant in town that would be open late, since we arrived well after dark. Parking was a few dollars extra, but worth it in their secure garage, and we were able to leave our car and luggage there in the morning while we explored the town a bit before heading up to the mountains.

If you are looking for budget accommodations, there might be better, but for a quality stay on the road, the Hotel Rovereto was a great choice.

Located conveniently between the train station and city centre. The hotel is a hundred year old building with a lot of charm inside and outside. The room was fine but the bathroom was on the small side - a narrow passage where one person could fit in at a time.

Breakfast was fine and we also ate at the hotel restaurant in the evening. This was very pricey - quality was fair. We were supposed to get a discount for our meal at the restaurant but when we got the final bill the receptionist claimed ignorance.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2010

I booked this hotel to visit the Mart and Rovereto itself and it was an excellent choice. Staff were wonderfully helpful, giving detailed answers to any queries and even phoning around to try and find a particular wine that I was looking to buy. The room was immaculate and very well equipped, including big fluffy towels which is always a hit with me. Some might say the room was a little small, but everything was so well laid out that I didn't notice. It was very quiet and I slept like a log. Breakfast was great too. Well worth it.

After staying in a number of hotels during our holiday in Italy, we cannot rate this hotel highly enough. It is fantastic location and the staff could not have been more helpful. Our car had broken down with no way of getting back to England and the staff helped with faxes, phone calls, booking of further hotels and always with a smile.

The hotel is lovely and the rooms very clean and well furnished....

We would definitely stay again...

5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2006

I had a 1 night stay at this hotel in December 2006.
The hotel is ideally situated between the railway station and the city center, with easy parking space.
The rooms are not very spacious but perfectly clean, with a cosy atmosphere and all the necessary for a 3 star hotel (elsewhere it would be a 4*, I guess).
The restaurant is excellent and the breakfast is so good.
Last but not least, I got a very cheap rate via Bookings. com for the BB accomodation.
I would suggest this hotel to anyone and would like to come back in the future.
