With solid hotel booking to this hotel for next week, Even though internet tool can show nearby airport, but hotel may have regular coach bus to different airports. I need these info badly to amend my ticket back to Asia, still no one gives me a reply. Hotel service is NOT only providing a bed and a bath, transportation information to traveller is very important. ~1 Thumbs down !!

Nice hotel and very clean, but in common with many hotels in this area, the staff develop amnesia when it comes to vegetarian diets. Offerings of pasta with a tomato sauce, no green vegetables or salad on the night of a gala dinner is very insulting and very poor value for money!

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back of the hotel away from the main road.

This is a good quality hotel in beautiful surroundings with an excellent restaurant and wonderful pool. The rooms are comfortable, with good aircon, the staff are friendly and helpful and from the hotel it is an easy15 mins walk to the centre of Riva. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel, Riva del Garda and the beautiful mountain/lake scenary which is stunning. The perfect place for your summer holiday!

With a redecoration and clean the room and hotel could be lovely. Breakfast had stale cereals and also no fruit juice only sugary fruit drinks. To be fair the bed was comfortable, if the shutters had closed completely we would have slept well. It was also cheap however not good value!

We had a lovely 8 days at this Hotel. The food was varied and of good standard. The room was clean and comfortable with a Juliet balcony.
The pool area was clean and safe with plenty of seating & tables to enjoy the sun and the shrubs/flowers made it a very pleasant place to sit with a drink, with privacy from the nearby road.
Tea/coffee is available all day and evening, pleasant and accommodating staff. only a 15 minute stroll to the Lake Garda.

Room Tip: Stick to the Hotel rooms, not the annex.

A short review because I hate reading long ones...
Hotels - appropriate. Not top notch but good food and friendly staff. Good chianti! Lake Garda is gorgeous.
Cities visited - everyone one of them interesting and enjoyable. Great cafes and serious culture.
Travelling - don't be put off by reviewers saying much spent time on coach... You book a seven city tour and you look at the map! Half of Italy covered! Generally good roads but A roads iffy. Toilets usually overcrowded.
Coach - should have been better: loose skylights juddered often awaking tired travellers.
Guide - Luca - excellent. Couldn't have been more helpful.

This is a taster of Italy. It was very good. You will not have time to go in to major attractions - there is not time. TASTER!

We shall return to Rome for a week it was that amazing.

Warnings: you walk long distances and sometimes up hill. If you can't, don't go.

A great introduction to Italy and very good value.

Crap bit.... People who do not turn up on time to depart the city....

We have visited the Hotel Bristol with Travelstyle tours 2011 - 2012 and looking forward to our visit in September 2013.
On both our visits we found the hotel to be clean and comfortable. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful and made every effort to make our stay memorable. The only minus point is the walk into Riva, but we found the local taxi drivers were more than helpful and a reasonable charge.
There is a Lidl store about two hundred yards from the hotel and provides any extra needs
All staff spoke English and were always there to help in any way they could.
A safe key can be obtained from reception with a refundable fee of 5 euro
We found the food excellent with a choice of menu placed at breakfast, although there is no 'English Breakfast' there is really good choice of Continental .
The pool, although not heated, is excellent, the water quality and upkeep cannot be faulted with plenty of seating around the pool.
