“A little gem with lovely garden but on main road”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013

This family run hotel has about 50 rooms, Its 400 yards to the lake, but you can't see it because of other buildings. It has a super little garden and pool at the rear. The breakfasts are great, lots of fresh fruit, bread, cakes, cold meats , cheeses and excellent scrambled eggs.. The breakfast room overlooks the garden, and when it is warm you can sit outside. The buildings are immaculate, well maintained and the staff are all friendly.
Its a walk along the lakeshore to the lovely old town with its harbour, cafes and several good restaurants, set between the lake and the mountains. We were there early June and there was still snow on the mountains but the air was warm, going on hot during the day

Room Tip: If you book a comfort=basic=cheapest room they are all on the front of the hotel overlooking the car...

Just back from Parc Flora and would have to agree with most of the comments about the Hotel. Everyone were very helpful from front desk upwards. Swimming Pool fabulous. Rooms spotless.
Gelateria to front to die for. Town of Riva very scenic and clean. Great selection of restaurants in the town. A trip to Limone a Must. Big problem we had was choice at Breakfast. If you are a healthy eater this place is for you but choice at breakfast failed to impress us. Scrambled egg and chopped up ham would not be our idea of breakfast. Was not possible to get a fried egg or bacon etc.Diningroom felt as if it was been run on a Budget. Having said all that we would highly recommend the Hotel asd it is very quiet and peaceful and friendly.

Everyone at the hotel was so incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the gentleman at the front desk and gentleman in the breakfast room. Our stay there was wonderful. As for the room- we stayed in the most amazing suite, it had an enormous balcony with beautiful views of the lake and the Bastione, very impressive shower (mist, breeze, music, lights... one of the best showers I've been in), hot tub and a super comfortable bed... and that was just the first floor. :)

The hotel itself was easy to find, very clean, awesome breakfast and just a short and scenic walk to the historical center. Definitely recommend!

Room Tip: The fourth floor has the larger rooms with better views.

Fantastic spot! Love this place. Rooms were clean and staff were very friendly. Mind the door, you will know what I mean! March was quiet and summer may be a bit crazy! Most necessary spots are in walking distance.

Hotel: Good first impressions, good location, very clean, modern interior. Lounge lacking atmosphere.
Superior room: Overpriced (especially during low season), very hot, stuffy (no air conditioning till June), noisy fountain outside running through the night, woken up by noisy housekeeping every morning (& decorators on one occasion), toilet not properly fitted to wall, no tissues.
Breakfast: Scrambled eggs was not kept warm, canned fruit. If it wasn't for the amazing, freshly squeezed orange juice, we would not have bothered.
Spa: Only open from 4-9pm
Service: No room service, housekeeping did minimum during our stay (glasses not cleaned)
Staff: Receptionist (who turned out to be the manager/owner) seemed disinterested, with no personal touch. Even getting her to book a restaurant seemed too much trouble.
The night porter, Peter was a breath of fresh air! He was professional, polite, friendly, interested and had a personal touch and always time for a chat.
Overall: Hotel was overpriced, certainly not 4 star service!!!

We stayed in Parc Flora for three nights after getting married in nearby Arco this summer. The hotel is Beautiful and the staff are very welcoming. The hotel is situated perfectly within Riva, the private gardens a tranquil retreat from the often busy lakeside or high street, but both of these destinations are just minutes walk away.
The breakfast was excellent with a number of options, including lots of fresh fruit, meats and breads.
The room we had was wonderful, it was the middle cost room and was very spacious incredibly comfy and the views from the balcony were incredible.
Finally the spa, it is quiet because they restrict number of entrants and excellently appointed with lovely treats and spa treatments.
All in all our short stay here was nothing short of the perfect relaxing treat we desired it to be!
Thanks you for looking after us so well!

All in all a perfect short stay
