“Wonderful views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2012

The hotel has been updated and is situated in a very beautiful area on Lake Garda.
We found the staff friendly and helpful in recommending restaurants and sights in the area.
The breakfast was wonderful and you can make your own fresh orange juice.

Room Tip: Overlooking the beautiful garden

We are on our last day at the hotel and have enjoyed every moment. The staff could not be more helpful and are very attentive. The pool area is like an oasis. The breakfast has everything you would want. The hotel is located about a mile from the centre of Riva del Garde which was ideal for us strolling into town along the veach front at night to eat. Would definatly stay here again.

All in all this was a beautiful hotel, but as others have said, you need to get past the surly guy on reception first!! we had a nightmare journey to Riva and on our arrival we were not greeted with a smile, nor a welcome drink, nor anyone to help with our bags up the steps (no ramp!), nor were we even shown the lift!! I had requested a high floor room with a lake/pool view but was told that Thomson/Crystal guests do not have that privelege and we should have booked directly through the hotel for that!
BUT....... having got past the reception, the hotel itself is gorgeous-the pool is perfect for adults but was glad we hadn't brought our 4 boys, it is a delightful walk into Riva (though a good 15 minutes so take a brolley if you want to avoid getting wet in the mountanous showers!), the evening buffet and sparkling wine on the Friday was a lovely touch, the room itself was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was fine (but not fit for a king as one person wrote!), and the 2 waiters were amazing and ran around like headless chickens to make everyone feel relaxed and comfortable-nothing was too much trouble for them!
All in all we would return to Riva and this hotel and had a fantastic week there despite the changeable weather!!

Room Tip: Book directly with the hotel for a high floor, lake view room!

The room was recently refurbished with a very comfortable bed and good bathroom.
The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was very good and it was great being able to eat out on the terrace overlooking the beautiful garden. The short walk into town got us fit.The waiter were very attentive to our needs and pool service was excellent. I can recommend the hotel and would be very happy to stay there again.

we stayed at the parc hotel flora in the end of june for 7 nights and we had a great time there. the hotel is very luxourius, it has just been renovated and everything is new. the best part of the hotel was bar service with fresh complimentary drink, the tow barmans care about guesst very carefully and they give 5 star service. they have a great swimming pool and the spa is free! the location is special, and the staff are all hard working and very friendly, they will do anything to make your feel as home. breakfast is great and fresh orange juice machine is fabulous. the guys provide a very good service and the buffet was always full. only one thing was bad.. small garage, approximately one car for superior room. highly recomended!

With a room decor leaning towards 90's disco, this hotel delivers on almost all levels.
Food is absolutely excellent and I would stay here again just because of their morning buffet.
Parking is included and bikes are available to enjoy the area.
Service is not perfect and you better avoid the reception desk if you can, but once you pass those 'little' quirks you will be able to enjoy it.

Room Tip: choose a room that does not overlook the gelatteria next door.

We have stayed here a few times and it’s wonderful. For a small hotel it has the perfect balance of service and personal space. The staff are as good as they come – after seven years since our last visit – they still remembered us.
Mauro provides ‘reception’ and can answer any ‘strange question’ you have. If all hotels had someone like that - travel would be so much nicer.
The rooms overlooking the lake / garden are first rate.
We have booked as a package in the past via the typical tour operators – but book direct and get a better deal is our advice.
Overall the best small hotel in around the lake.
