The hotel is a real find: built as a nunnery in 1288, it is perched on a cliffside, with a million dollar view of the Amalfi coastline. The hotel is small, intimate and romantic without being over the top, its old walls blending beautifully into the atmosphere of rural Italy.

The reception area is small and cosy, and the dining area large and airy with that stunning view of the coastline. There is that same view from an outdoor seating area as well as from the garden.

Although its an old building, the hotel is neither decrepit nor creepy but is charming instead. My room was small with beautiful antique floor tiles, with an attached bathroom that was small with an even smaller shower stall, but it had a window and was bright and cheery.

Free wifi and an inroom safe, genuine wooden furniture with a few antique touches make this a wonderfully romantic, intimate place to stay in Ravello. There is also a small outdoor garden with fountain, and a creeper-encrusted wall.

Breakfast was good, with freshly-made breads and a selection of cereals, fruit and preserves, just don't expect anything lavish.

Kids were all at activities and we came up for a night alone. Town is very cute, but the views from the hotel were superb. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a cocktail on the patio and then dinner in the restaurant which was superb. Room was comfortable and clean. A great experience start to finish. We will return.

We stayed for two nights in this special hotel. We had a lovely room with a sea view to the amalfi cost. The staf where freindly and helpfull. A big plus is the great food in the resturant of the hotel. I recomend this place very much and would come back to it if I will be in Ravello again.

What a lovely town Ravello is - lovely gardens, plenty of history and culture, spectacular scenery, and great hotels and restaurants. While there are several very fancy and exclusive hotels here, with rates to match, the Parsifal fits in a different niche. Family-owned and run by Antonio Mansi and his brothers, cousin, and daughter, the rooms are clean and nicely furnished, spacious, charming, and with fabulous views and reasonable prices. The food and service are very good, with a homey or bed and breakfast feel. The staff welcomes you and treats you like honored family members; they are helpful, friendly, quick to fulfill your needs and offer assistance. We stayed for 5 happy nights and would love to return. Ravello has much to offer and the Mansi family makes your stay all the more enjoyable. Highly recommend a visit to the town and this hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the coast have the most spectacular views and lovely sun.

The hotel and stay was very nice! We had a lovely room on the main floor that had a fabulous view. It was interesting to stay in the old convent. The rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable. It was convenient to get there from the SITA Ravello Gradillo bus stop - just walk uphill and when you go past the bend and you are there. It is very nice that they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner - which is helpful in the low season when there aren't very many restaurants open in town. They are very cordial and helpful hosts - providing maps and suggestions.
