“WORDS CANNOT DESCRIBE - AMAZING HONEYMOON”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2011

The most amazing hotel in the most amazing town on the entire Amalfi coast. It's simply amazing. It is expensive, but you truly get what you pay for... They have an outpost down by the beach and that too was beautiful/breathtaking/nothing but first class. The service was top notch, the rooms were beautiful, and the grounds were something out of what I can only describe as - garden of eden-esque. If you can afford it, you would be making a mistake by staying anywhere else.

Make sure you go to Cumpa Cosimo for dinner and check out VIlla Cimbronie! (not spelling any of these names right, but ask the concierge)

Amazing. My wife & I chose this hotel out of thousands of possible locations for our destinantion wedding. Because we would be getting married in a place we were not familiar with we needed to depend heavily on the staff to help us coordinate many things such as flowers, food, musicians, photographer/videographers, hair & makeup stylists, etc. & they were perfect. Everything went so well. We owe every member of the staff an eternal debt of gratitude! We were treated like royalty- extra rooms were found at the last minute for unexpected guests, the food was far superior to anything we had expected- The views were stunning. Even the bartender knew how to make a perfect Sazerac. And we had several star sightings while lounging by the pool!

We would highly recommend Palazzo sasso to anyone visiting Ravello, particularly as a wedding venue. Five Stars!! -Sam Cunningham

Our stay at Palazzo Sasso for our wedding ceremony and accomodations was First Class in Service, Warmth, Beauty, and Excellence in personal attention. We stayed at another 5 Star on the Amalfi Coast, however, there is no comparison to the Elegance, Fine Quality of food and Outstanding Hospitality that awaited us at Palazzo Sasso. Palazzo Sasso is truly one of a kind! We are returning for our first anniversary to Palazzo Sasso. A very special thank you to Marilena who took exceptional care of us for our weddng ceremony, it was amazing, romantic, and very beautiful. And to all the staff members at Palazzo Sasso who provided us with a warm and welcoming stay. We send our deepest appreciation! Mille Grazie!

Ok, let's get this out of the way: Palazzo Sasso is a pretty expensive place. I personally think that places like this are the reason you get out of bed in the morning and go to work every day, but that's just me. The hotel itself is truly a "palazzo" as you feel like royalty with the marble floors and pillars. The view from our room was arguably the best view from any room anywhere on Earth, I'm just not sure what could top it. It felt like the Mediterranean was right below us and the surrounding towns and villages built into the cliffside alongside it were spectacular. The grounds of the hotel are well set up and very beautiful, as there is an outdoor eating area, gradually sloping down to a pool and a spa (we got a free couples massage for staying there 4 nights). There are so many different places to relax in the hotel, we almost missed the sundeck on the roof with the jacuzzi. And of course, Ravello is fantastic, a true old-time Italian village with maybe a few thousand residents, tops. Finally, the restaurant Rossellini's has a two star michelin rating and lived up to the hype, just an excellent meal. And of course, any review of Sasso would be incomplete without Sasso by the Sea, a private villa that they rent next to the water which is the icing on the cake and from 11 am to 3 pm on sunny days is exactly what the doctor ordered. The only real drawbacks are the cost itself and the fact that the shower is a bit tight. But if and when we come back to the Amalfi Coast, we would surely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone else as well.

I travel very frequantly and have been on many resorts in Europe.
I have been back to this hotel every year for the last 7 and will try very hard to get back again and again. They treat me like family!!!
The staff the view the spa the pool the bar the resturants all the BEST!
Antonio at the front desk is the best friend a traveler like me has.
He helped me on a many occasions when i traveled with up to 15 friends and family members to save money and book easier and less expensive transportation! Not somthing you can expect at a top of the line hotel. Some of the rooms are small and some are over the top.
You get what you pay for and here you are paying for luxury and service and I have always received it.

Palazzo Sasso is beautiful! We had an incredible time....hotel, location and food were excellent. We traveled with our 14 month old daughter and the staff were attentive to our all our needs. They made our daughter feel extra special which made for a very pleasant and memorable experience at Palazzo Sasso. We highly recommend it.

we couldn't have planned for how much we loved Palazzo Sasso. From the welcome bottle of Prosecco to the outstanding breakfast each morning, the customer service is impeccable. And that only is the beginning: the hotel is cozy, serene, and beautiful. The views are some of the most memorable in the world. And there is no beating the charm of Ravello. We dream of going back.
