“Numero uno!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013

One of the best meals of my life!
I've had some good steaks in some excellent restaurants but this was truly outstanding.
I was especially taken with the pattern on the desert plate being of the chef's creation and entirely edible!
We were feeling a little abandoned whilst we waited in the bar area for our table and told them so but I have knocked them a point in the hotel review for that!

“Very exclusive”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2012

High end restaurant with more of a westernised/american twist. Great for special occasions but if you are after a genuine experience I would stay with one of the local restaurants or less expensive hotels. Views are amazing.

“Unbelievable Dining Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2012

We arrived expecting excellent Italian food in a wonderful restaurant, but nothing prepared us for the three hour dining experience that followed. The table was set in front of glass doors looking out over the bay. It was 8.00pm and dark with sheet lightening lighting up the sky. We drank Prosecco whilst choosing from an enticing menu, but quickly settled on the tasting menu that promised seven courses, and chose the option of five different wines to accompany. What followed was a faultless display of friendly attentive service, providing descriptions of each course down to the smallest details of where the fresh local ingredients were sourced, and how the dishes were created. Each dish was fabulously presented, and perfectly cooked, showing the creative skills of the chef to be amongst the best in the world. When the chef's surprises were included, no less than ten perfect small courses had arrived, and yet the whole meal was balanced so that we were not uncomfortably full. I do not hesitate to recommend this fine dining experience to anyone, and having eaten at restaurants throughout Europe, I can confidently say this is the best dining experience of my life.

“Breakfast/Brunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2012

Lovely breakfast served at Villa Cimbrone. We had only one day in Ravello, so reserved breakfast at Il Flauto Di Pan so that we could view the gardens immediately afterward in the morning light. Both the food and service were fantastic. We will definitely have dinner there when we return to Ravello!

“The Best Dinner of our Lives!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2012

My friends and I recently experienced one of the best dining experiences of our lives. We feel not only the food was excellent(they only use products from Italy),but the service and the setting was magnificent. It was a special occasion that originally brought us here, but now Villa Ciambrone will be part of our visits to the Amalfi Coast. The hotel and gardens are truly magical.I felt the prices were quite reasonable for the tasting menu. Coming from a big city I felt it was well worth it. Don't forget to tour the Gardens before dinner and take in the breathtaking views! Enjoy
