Our driver heartily recommended it, and he was right. It's a little eccentric, run by a family. Seems to be several generations. The matron is a little short woman who always wears a sweater under her apron and a flower in her hair. You need to have a little tolerance for their procedures, such as off-the-menu items, and the check is typically delivered as just a verbal price. We thought it added to the charm of the place, though. The food was GOOD. We ate two dinners there, and one night had the best lemon cake we have ever eaten. We asked if they might share the recipe, but that didn't go far. They gave us a complimentary limoncello both nights, and we saw that they gave some couples complimentary desserts. Seems to be a case of, if you're nice, they're appreciative. After two nights there, we were hooked on limoncello's, but theirs was the best we had. No doubt homemade. It's located off the square heading opposite Villa Rufolo.
