We stayed here for one night in June 2012.The accommodation is in a beautiful palazzo on the cathedral square in Ragusa Ibla and we found the stay a very special experience. The family that own the palazzo were really helpful regarding our stay and gave us a very warm welcome. They also took time to show us around the other parts of the palazzo, including the garden and terraces, and were happy to share their knowledge regarding the history of the building and the town as well as other parts of Sicily.
The room that we stayed in was very spacious, with a balcony that overlooked the square (but there was no problem with noise). The accommodation was beautifully decorated and presented. The bedroom featured hand painted antique floor tiles, a frescoed ceiling, and oak furniture. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was clean, spacious and modern, with a great shower. The remainder of the palazzo was equally as stunning. The traditional and delicious breakfast was provided in a room that overlooked the scented garden in the palazzo's central courtyard. The owners kindly arranged for us to be able to park our hire car close to the accommodation. The building had a lift which made taking luggage up to the rooms easy.
If you are visiting Ragusa this should be your first choice of accommodation.
