Nora has much to offer for many interests. The setting is spectacular, near a beautiful beach and an old Genoese watchtower on a cliff overlooking the sea. The ruins are right on, and sometimes in the sea. If you have a particular interest in Roman and Phoenician history you will find much of interest here. If not, it is still worth walking around because the ruins are fairly extensive, and because of the beautiful scenery. It was not very crowded when we visited in September which added to the appeal.
