Hotel Toscana is a great place to if you're looking for a no frills place to stay while you're in Prato. It's really conveniently located to the Porta al Serraglio Train Station, the city center and several other cool places. The staff is really friendly and helpful and you get an okay breakfast if you show up before 9:30.
It's true that the bathrooms are small and the walls are really thin. There is no elevator, but that seems common in buildings this old.
I'd recommend this place if all you're looking for is a safe place to leave your stuff while you're out adventuring Prato and to sleep at night.
