“What a place , service, restaurant ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 weeks ago

This is the perfect spot to stay. A fully white interior, superb rooms ( we stayed in the suite) a fantastic breakfast and the place to have dinner!
The rooms are like brand new and are all in white except the artwork.

The views are spectacular and compared with places in Positano we stayed at, this location is at the perfect spot as it benefits from the sun until late.

The restaurant is spectacular and the food is super tasty and light.

The staff (dressed slightly too simplistic in my view) is very attentive and extremely helpful.

We hired a boat for two days to spend time on Capri only 45 minutes away by boat, and to benefit from the sea and swimming in the creeks nearby.

The 240 steps down from the hotel to the beach and up in the evening are a good replacement for the gym. However the gym of the hotel is perfectly equipped by technogym and you can have an early morning exercise with a view on the sea.

For people who like simplistic luxury- that is the place to go to.

Enjoy

Beautiful hotel, well kept, extremely clean, super cool and modern.

Delicious food and drinks - great breakfast buffet! The hotel itself is very quiet and perfect for the ultimate relaxation.

If you want a little more action, walk down the stairs to One Fire Beach, and get cocktails and lunch while the music is pumping:)

Very service minded staff at casa Angelina! And is worth recommending.

I went here on my honeymoon- and it was just perfect!

Like other reviewers, we had a perfect three nights at Casa Angelina. We were amazed at the incredible levels of service from the entire staff, the unbelievable views from our room, the restaurants (both casual and elegant) - all I can say is go here! We took their free shuttle to Positano and after two hours, couldn't wait to get away from the maddening crush of tourists, buses, scooters and cheap shops and head back to our stunning hotel. They arranged for us to take a beautiful day trip to Capri aboard a gorgeous 30' boat - all reasonably priced and well worth it to spend a day swimming, seeing the coast and visiting Capri town. Their private beach is 300 down steps so know that you need to be able to navigate these to enjoy all the hotel has to offer. This is a unique, exquisite place and you will be mesmerized by the views both day and night.

My husband and I have just spent an amazing week at this hotel. From our arrival the "magic" of Casa Angelina began. We were greeted by excellent staff who were throughout the holiday always there to help and were professional in how they delivered themselves. The hotel is a beautiful crisp white throughout with fresh flowers and a wonderful smell in all areas. At night the areas outside are lit with with candles and paraffin torches, a truly romantic touch. The pool and terrace area enjoy a beautiful view of the sea and Capri and also the most beautiful sunsets. The bar staff there give 100% to provide wonderful drinks and nibbles courtesy of the kitchen chefs. The rooms were a joy to be in, relaxing, spotlessly clean with nice little touches provided by the Cleaners. We ate both breakfast and dinner in the restaurant...can only say 5 star food, the selection was excellent, served by knowledgeable staff and of the very best standard. The chauffeurs who moved the car around and provided free shuttles to Positano were also friendly and showed us the real way to drive the Amalfi roads!! I have no doubt that we will re visit this beautiful hotel in the coming years, but in the meantime would like the hotel and all it's staff our heartfelt thanks for providing us with the most wonderful honeymoon destination we could have wished for. If you are lucky enough to visit the Amalfi coasts, make this hotel your choice, Priano is a beautiful little town with many good restaurants and a gem of a hotel within it.

so, we spent 5 days as 2 friends at this hotel in september.it is spectacular, it is expensive. it is superbly located, the staff are really fine, the rooms, hmmm, variable, more of that in a moment, the food , fabulous. the whole set up is very luxe. so why the reservations -- well, first, the entry to the hotel is a complete nightmare. the driveway is truly hell on earth for a first time driver-- why they don't warn you that it might be best to get the staff to drive your car up and down is beyond me. it is a series of 7 insane hair pin turns, each of which, if mis taken, would see you cascading into the sea. finding reception is blissful, relief, and also mist welcoming. the site speaks for itself- spectacular, rooms are variable in cost and the cost seems to bear little relationship to quality. we were 2 friends in separate rooms- my friend took a low price room, splendid, very private , albeit small balcony, with all mod cons, i took a much higher priced room, to what end?? a much larger balcony, but totally overlooked by 7 other v small rooms, all of whom spent most of their time on their balconies rendering mine largely unusable, asked for a room change, nothing forthcoming, unless i wanted to stump up another 1000 euro per night, for a room on the very top floor, that, yes, still , shared its balcony with another room, divided by a sort of small pot plant. this room issue was the source of continuing angst and disappointment. if you book here, ask for both a room plan and the hotel layout and ask if you have any privacy, i had none, which was really annoying, not the excellent staff's fault , rather, serious design flaws in the hotel layout,
if you can get over that, or are an exhibitionist then its fine - regular shuttle into positano, or rather to the top edge of it, great food, nice wines, solidly capable staff, but just a bit petty on things, and pricing is , i'd say, fericiously expensive compared to neighboring properties.
good, not great. and sometimes very good. but often rather ordinary,.... i think the management lacks finesse and needs to understand the needs of clients at their price point. not sure who's going to get them thinking that way, sadly,,,

Room Tip: yes this is the core problem here - my advice is to study a floor plan and schematic== most rooms ha...

I am always a little concerned when I see such overwhelmingly positive reviews for one place but this one may have topped everything we have expected. It was a stunning hotel in the lovely town of Praiano. I like the location because it is a smaller town 10 minutes away from the much more crowded Positano which you can take a free shuttle every hour.

Everything about the hotel is outstanding from the welcome drink, the views throughout the hotel, to the rooms, to the breakfast buffet, to the private beach. It is the most I have ever paid for a room but it seemed like a bargain by the end of the trip. You are treated like royalty and the hotel attracts a great customer base. My wife and I are looking forward to our next stay at Casa Angelina.

Room Tip: I have heard to avoid the floor under the restaurant but it didn't impact us. We chose the roma...
