“Lovely hosts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014

I almost don't want to tell you about this place as it was such a find!

Best things:
1. The owners! What a lovely family. They went out of their way to welcome and inform us, booking tours for us and advising on the best things to do and places to see.
2. The rooms are clean and comfortable.
3. The terrace on the roof is spectacular. Beautiful.
4. The breakfast is personal, fresh fruit, pastries, eggs/bacon etc....everything....coffee devine!

Worst things:
Practically none. The only thing I would say is that it is noisy but ANY hotel around that area would be noisy as they are ALL directly on the road, unless you had to drag your bags down the hill and up again.

Pretty much faultless hotel and very good value for money in that area of the Amalfi Coast.

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon, and it was lovely. We had a sea view room (which also overlooks the hotel opposite swimming pool), which was a bit disappointing, but a sea view none the less! The bedroom was very clean and comfortable (a little tatty round the edges) but we certainly have no complaints. Please don't let this put you off, because we the hotel is lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The coast is incredibly expensive and this hotel offers fantastic value for money with wonderful staff and outdoor areas to enjoy the views (which is why you visit the Amalfi coast!)

The room has wi-fi which was a real bonus and the breakfast that was included was great. Fresh coffee, different cereals, pastries, fruit, eggs, ham, cheese, bacon and yoghurt, all served with a friendly face and personal service.

The hotel staff are lovely and really make the hotel a wonderful place to stay, they are very helpful, always have a smile on their face and very welcoming. The hotel has a roof terrace which is awesome, a lovely place to unwind after a day of sight seeing! There are sun loungers that you can enjoy during the day too. They have a barbq where they serve amazing burgers and if there is something on the menu that you fancy cooking slightly differently they are more than happy to adapt the menu for you. The bar serves brilliant non-alcoholic cocktails (not my usual choice, but being pregnant and pretty limited to boring drink choices, this got my thumbs up!) My husband said the red wine and alcoholic cocktails were gorgeous too! The ice cream was delicious too!

The SITA bus stops right outside the hotel which goes along the coast to Amalfi and Prositano (and further on). One word of warning if you are considering travelling on the bus and being pregnant, the buses are crowded and get very hot indeed. I was very disappointed that no one offered their seat to me, but were quite happy to gaze at my very obvious pregnant bump and let me stand up in the aisle, while the coach threw us around the winding roads of the Amalfi coast! After a while of being thrown about and feeling very dizzy indeed I asked a young Australian girl if she minded I sit down, and they were lovely, offering me water and a wet towel to wipe my forehead. Shame on us English.

We visited Amalfi which was lovely to wander around, although incredibly pricey (5 Euro for a gelato!) Great to see the gorgeous boats and the harbour, and cheap to get to on the bus. Prositano was our personal favourite with lovely cobbled streets to explore, places to eat and share a gelato (and not as pricey as Amalfi) We found a lovely cafe that spurted out jets of water to cool the customers down - great value and a novelty cool place to sip some coffee and look at the beautiful view. Get the bus to the top of Prositano and walk down towards the sea, a lovely stroll and going back up isnt as bad as you might originally think!

We had a lovely stay in the hotel and would definitely recommend it as a good base that is good value for money.

My husband and I have just returned from a 3 night trip , staying at Hotel Le Fioriere. The hotel is a real gem and is perfectly located for exploring the beautiful Amalfi Coast as the SITA bus stops right outside.

The hotel is family run and has a very welcoming feel. The rooms are clean, bright and well appointed. We had a sea view, and it was definitely worth paying a little extra for a fantasic view of Positano and, in the distance, Capri.

On arrival we were given an information pack with bus and ferry times included. This was a really thoughtful and helpful touch.

The hotel also has a roof terrace. They have a BBQ gill menu (luxe style not just a burger and hot dog type affair!) and we ate here our first night. Everything we ate was delicious and we very much enjoyed the view, whilst enjoying a delicious bottle of organic wine.

Breakfast was great; pastries, fresh sliced fruit, yogurt, fresh bread, juices and of course, very good coffee. A relaxed service, which fitted perfectly with the warm ambience of the hotel.

We would certainly stay here again if we visted the area again and will be highly reccomending it to others.

We recently spent 4 nights at this lovely hotel, what a treat. Great service and a spotlessly clean property. Thanks to everyone at this hotel for making our holiday so special. We dined on the terrace twice, food and ambiance perfect. Breakfast by Enzo was a great start, he clearly takes great pride in his work, thank you!

The moment we arrived at La Fioriere the owners and staff made us feel at home. Our bags were taken to our room and we were given a tour of the hotel. The beautiful terrace was the perfect place for a drink and for dinner. We stayed in Praiano for 4 nights and we ate on the terrace twice. The food was wonderful. At breakfast Enzo looked after us as if we were family. I would definitely recommend La Fioriere to anyone visiting the Amalfi Coast.

Besides being a charming hotel with stunning views over the sea. This intimate jem is family owned and they take great pride in their hotel to us service beyond our expectations. They make you feel like one of the family.

We have been coming to Praiano for years and choose Praiano beacuae it is centrally located
in the Amalif Coast… Their sign coming into town says : "Praiano ..the heart of the Amalfi Coast"

Views from the terrace bar overlook the San Gennaro Church and ocean toward Positano , just breathtaking. We went there every evening for sunset drinks and unique and tasty appetizers.

This is a great place to be if you want to emerse yourself in the local culture. And Hotel Le Fioriere is bello!

A beautiful all round experience staying in this lovely pretty hotel.
The owners and staff could not do enough for us. Even when the bar on the terrace - with a view to die for at sunset - was closed they happily took our drinks up for us. We could sit in peace and enjoy the beautiful coast line. This hotel is perfect for romantic evenings and you can see the full sunset !
Highly recommend a stay here. Clean comfortable rooms with plenty of space too - which we found rare whilst travelling in Italy. They parked our car for us - which can be tricky especially on this coast line. Gave us recommendations of places to eat and visit and helped us get on the right bus to go to Positano.
Amalfi coast is stunning.
