“Local Duomo worth seeing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2013

Beautiful tiles and ambiance, full of light and colour. It was full of flowers for the local Festa and a lovely piazza right outside was light with lights.

“Great Break on our Path of the Gods Trek”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2013

Yes we hiked the 1,200 or so steps from Praiano to this site on our way to the path of the Gods. We hiked with a guide named Maurizio and he was sharing his knowledge of the wild herbs and flowers along the way. The monestary was built over several hundred years. There has been some restoration work done to some of the frescos. It's amazing to see such beautiful work in a remote hard to reach location. We enjoyed some freshly picked figs from the nearby tree. This church provided a nice break to cool off on our hike. If we didn't have the hiking guide, I'm not sure we would have learned much of the Convent/Monestary.

“It's a hike and so worth the effort”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2013

The frescoes are thrilling to see. The fresh lemon juice and green olives, fresh figs and nuts are just the ticket.
